A Call to Action for Women in Leadership So, what do we do when we encounter moments like Kamala Harris. Here’s what I’ve learned: ✅ Claim Your Space. You’ve earned your seat at the table. Don’t let anyone make you feel like you don’t belong. ✅ Set Boundaries. You don’t always have to “go high.” Sometimes, calling out disrespect — calmly and confidently — is necessary. ✅ Lead Authentically. Be bold in your leadership. Don’t shrink yourself to fit into spaces that weren’t designed with you in mind. The rooms we walk into may not always welcome us, but our presence matters. We’re not here to blend in. Week two of our Women's Leadership Experience featured the awesome Franziska Divis! Yesterday we explored the 3 components of personal influence 👇 ✅ Credibility - What have you achieved, what is your brand? It can also be who you know (network) and what you know. This is what gets you in the room. 😏 Presence - This is about relatability, being fully attentive, and reading what’s happening in the moment. Presence is the ability to keep people attention and respond to the energy in the room 💥 Impact - How do you change the thinking in the room and influence key stakeholders? Impact is the measure of the difference between what you say and what is accepted by other people.

Have you ever noticed how your attention automatically shifts to others the moment they enter your space? As women leaders, we've been conditioned to prioritize everyone else's needs before our own. This pattern, deeply ingrained in our societal fabric, often comes with a stinging label: "selfish." But what if there was another way? I call it "selffullness". It's about knowing who we are, claiming our space, and embracing our power while remaining fully present - both for ourselves and others. In a recent gathering of women leaders, I asked how many struggled to maintain self-connection when others were present. Every single hand went up. This universal experience highlights one of our collective challenges in leadership: maintaining our connection to self while meaningfully engaging with others. The solution isn't isolation or escape. It's learning to dance with both our need for community and our right to self-prioritization. This is radical work - redefining how we show up as leaders and creating support systems based in liberation, not patterns of sexism. Ready to explore self-fullness in a supportive community?
