With the year coming to a close, it’s the perfect time to step back and reflect—not just on achievements but also on the lessons that came with them. Before jumping into next year’s goals, taking time to pause can make all the difference in setting a meaningful direction. Reflection isn’t about dwelling on the past; it’s about recognizing what worked, what didn’t, and how to move forward with clarity and purpose. Here are three powerful questions to guide your reflection this week: 1️⃣ What worked exceptionally well this year? What made an impact and brought results worth celebrating? 2️⃣ What needs to be let go? Whether it’s a project, a habit, or even a mindset, letting go creates room for growth. 3️⃣ Where will you invest your energy next year? Focus and intention often turn dreams into realities. Taking time to reflect allows us to celebrate progress and draw valuable lessons from setbacks. Every experience, whether a win or a challenge, holds something we can carry into the future. What’s one thing you’re most proud of this year? Let’s take a moment to share and celebrate those moments that made all the effort worthwhile. 🌟

It’s that time of year again! The time when the Fresh Start Effect kicks in for many of us, producing an inspiring boost of motivation for the New Year. New Year’s resolutions are stimulating, fun, and hopeful. But as we all know, these promises are notoriously difficult to keep. You probably don’t need a stat to believe this, but in the US, only 6% of New Year’s resolutions last the year. Here’s the thing about New Year’s resolutions. We have a tendency to make these promises and decisions that are just that: promises and decisions, and nothing more. Big broad goals are shiny and exciting, but when not supported by systems, routines, and processes, they quickly crumble away. Grand resolutions are like compasses—they give us direction and motivation. But systems are the engine to drive progress. As we look towards making 2025 our best year yet, we need to attach systems to our resolutions to make them stick. ➡️ Read about the simple framework to keep more of your New Years resolutions here: https://lnkd.in/g_KwRfdZ

You got it Alex, Yearly resolutions are a nice tradition but useless for succeeding at virtually everything. DAILY " resolutions " ( goals ) that are immediately actionable lead to daily progress / success. New Years Resolutions are virtually guaranteed to fail because they're grand, vague, often articulated while drunk, & focus on outcomes rather than the daily habits that actually lead to success. tim #bgreen🌏 P.S. Make an immediately actionable daily resolution today, the ACT on it, & do it again tomorrow & every day thereafter.
