In a world where well-being at work has never been more critical, especially in light of the pandemic's impact, our project aims to tackle this challenge head-on, with a focus on small businesses in the professional services sector. Together, we're working to enhance their attractiveness in the labor market and combat the "great resignation" trend. For small and micro-businesses, focusing on well-being isn't just nice—it's necessary. After all, it's the people within these enterprises who serve as the primary catalysts for success. When small companies fail, it's not due to financial shortages or external factors in the first place; it's ultimately a matter of personnel. 🔍 That is why one of STAY OK project’s results is a training program for SMEs. During our meeting in Malta, we finalized the Stay OK training curriculum, covering essential topics such as: - 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: Empowering individuals to navigate their paths with confidence, while prioritizing holistic well-being. - 𝐇𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤: Rethinking processes to align with objectives and deliverables. - 𝐀𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭: Leveraging AI systems for workforce analysis, efficiency, and decision-making support. - 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Fostering inclusivity beyond physical barriers. - 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠: Building strategies for employee engagement in their communities. - 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤/𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: Developing skills vital for well-being, such as resilience and adaptability. 📚 Based on extensive research conducted in previous months, we'll soon be developing the training material and testing the program. 🌍 𝐀𝐆𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭: 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐞 At AGS, we’re proud to have a team that spans continents, cultures, and languages. To make sure every new employee feels at home, we’ve developed AGStart—an onboarding program that supports all new hires, no matter where they’re joining us from. Here’s a look at how 𝐀𝐆𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭 guides our newcomers: 📍 Ready from Day One: From the moment they join, new team members receive a personalized welcome letter with everything they need for a smooth first day. This includes essential contacts for HR, IT, and other support, along with a checklist to help them get started, like joining our communication channels. 📍 Introductions That Matter: On day one, we introduce our newcomers via our AGS International Telegram channel. This lets everyone learn a bit about each other, including interests, languages spoken, and personal passions—helping build connections from the start. 📍 Our Story & Roadmap: We host a welcome meeting where we share AGS’s journey, geography, values, and outline what their first three months will look like, setting expectations and welcoming questions. 📍 Cultural Awareness Training: Within their first three months, every new hire attends a cross-cultural communication training session. This training is essential in helping our diverse team collaborate effectively, ensuring that all voices are heard and respected across different backgrounds let it be Tanzania, Turkey, India or China. 📍 Goal Setting for a Strong Start: Together with a hiring manager, we work with each new hire to set key tasks and goals for their probationary period, providing a clear direction for the months ahead. 📍 Ongoing Support: Our HR team stays connected through regular check-ins, ensuring our new colleagues feel confident, supported, and ready to thrive. With AGStart, we’re dedicated to making sure that every new team member, no matter their location, feels welcomed, empowered, and part of our global community from day one! Meet SA-ers | WAN Võ - Vol 23 Hey folks! I’m WAN, currently holding the title of Assistant Manager at SHIFT ASIA. In the wild world of IT outsourcing at SHIFT ASIA, my daily gig mostly involves diving headfirst into projects that I manage to solve pesky technical requests from our clients. Picture this: I clock in, do the attendance cha-cha, and then take a break…like a caffeinated sloth. And then, I double-check all the tasks—just in case there is a last minute hidden-surprise. You know, the usual office shenanigans! Colleagues always fuel my energy and spark my creativity. They're such young, dynamic, and incredibly talented folks. Every two weeks, like clockwork, we gather for an internal mini show. We start with the boring-but-necessary- part like company updates, department announcements - the usual stuff – and then the main performance. Each team member gets a moment in the spotlight to spill the beans about what’s been tickling their fancy lately. From hobbies to life experiences, it’s like a surprise grab bag of intriguing content. And let me tell you, those sessions are my jam - I absolutely love them! But wait, there’s more! Outside of the daily grind, I secretly moonlight as a proud member of our company’s soccer club, where I trade emails for goals! Since we’re still rocking the hybrid work-from-home setup, our club hasn’t had many chances to meet up and kick the ball. However, every weekend, we transform. We hit the field, sprint, play soccer, and unleash primal yells. It’s like stress relief meets team bonding. Plus, it’s a chance to get up close and personal with colleagues from various departments, all working on different projects. Fingers crossed that the SHIFT ASIA soccer club welcomes even more fresh faces for upcoming tournaments! -- #MeetSAers #SHIFTASIA #PeopleofSHIFTASIA

Off to 3 Day Annual Strategy Meet with the entire team at a scenic location in Karjat. This morning when I was waiting for our vehicle, a neighbouring office acquaintance asked me where we were heading... When I said Karjat for Our Annual Strategy Meet, he amusingly smiled and said "Resort me kaunsa Strategy hota hai??" Well we have ours... Conducting an Annual Strategy Meet at an offsite location offers several benefits. Here are few on why it's advantageous: 1. Change of Scene: An offsite provides a fresh environment, breaking the routine and sparking creativity. It helps participants focus without workplace distractions. 2. Priority and Importance: Holding the meeting offsite communicates that strategic discussions are a priority. Attendees are less likely to be distracted by daily tasks. Which I'm sure most of us do.. 3. Engagement and Collaboration: A new setting encourages engagement and fosters better communication among team members. It also promotes professional relationships. 4. Collective Decision-Making: Involving the entire workforce in strategic initiatives makes employees feel valued. Their input contributes to higher engagement and retention. 5. Structured Conversations: Rigorously designed and well planned off-sites lead to candid strategy discussions. Clear agendas, relevant materials, and frameworks enhance the quality of conversations. And a good road map for the coming year. Share your views, thoughts or even locations where you have held your Offsite strategy meets, and how impactful they were. #samirgangar #ASM2024 #annualstrategymeet #liberationcoaches #PerformanceManagementSystem #businessconsultant

I launched SUMAYAH in 2021 with just one employee - me. 3 years later, we have a young team of 20+ members. Here’s how we’re trying to build a great company culture at SUMAYAH as we scale: 1 — Shared values and moral compass Everyone shares similar values like: → Respect → Kindness → Self-awareness → Being pluralistic → Open-mindedness → Having a growth mindset This way: → Everyone shares a clear vision of our direction. → We create a friendly atmosphere amongst the team—no drama. → Decisions are made thoughtfully and in alignment with our values. 2 — Flexibility We prioritise flexibility. We don’t have strict policies on time off or annual leave. Why? Because I believe in respecting everyone’s needs. Everyone is human. And sometimes, people just need a bit of a break. 3 — Fun and team bonding We prioritise team bonding through fun activities like trips abroad. → We’ve gone to Turkey a lot. → We’ve been to Dubai three times. → We’re going to Spain in September. We also have loads of content trips booked in different countries. We get as many people involved as possible—open to whoever wants to be on camera. How does your company nurture its culture?
