Here are the key points discussed to support BGBA members: 1. Streamlined DOT Certification: BGBA will follow up on all DOT certifications on behalf of members who opt for our services. This centralized approach will ensure better service from DOT to every buying office. 2. Flexible Office Address Requirements: Members are no longer required to have their office at the registered address. Any operational office with adequate manpower will be accepted. This will prevent unnecessary demands from DOT inspectors. 3. Protection Against Financial Demands: If any inspector makes financial demands, BGBA's involvement will ensure one-stop services, protecting members from such issues. 4. Seminar Arrangement: At our request, DOT will organize a seminar with the Minister, Secretary, BGBA, and other textile experts to discuss BGBA's contributions to foreign currency earnings and employment. 5. Online Membership Registration/Renewal: DOT is launching an online process soon. They will provide training to BGBA to facilitate smooth membership and renewal processes for all members. 6.
