Stop doing this mistake I speak to 5-6 people daily on LinkedIn Everyone is interested to know how to grow their profile But this one basic mistake isn’t allowing them to grow Adding 50 different services in their headline For example, check this: “I help business leaders build a brand | Lowest CAC ever | Lead Generation specialist | Organic Marketing” “Boosting CEO & Founder Brands with Visuals, SEO, Content, video editing, Marketing, and More | Your Online Growth Partner (Graphic Designer) (Digital Marketer)” Now, if we see the first one: ➡ No clarity on ICP (what industry) ➡3 services like branding, lead gen, organic marketing ➡And yet the how remains unclear In the second one: ➡Too many services ➡CEO and Founder’s Personal Brands or Product Brands? ➡Again the industry of the ICP isn’t clear Your audience should immediately understand what you do from your headline. Giving more than one service isn’t bad But they should be complimentary services For example, a content writer can do SEO as they need to add keywords in their content But it makes no sense for a content writer to give web development service Got, my point? When you sell everything, you look like the local grocery shop But, if you want to be the "BIRKIN" of your niche, then you will have to narrow down At least while building your brand on LinkedIn You can always upsell other services to your existing clients For example, I only talk about building a Personal Brand and how I offer content and account management services.
