Bhava Communications’ Post

OpenAI’s Sam Altman is optimistic that artificial general intelligence (AGI) can be achieved in 2025, and getting there is based on engineering logistics. 🤔 Is advanced AGI attainable that quickly? What we do know is that LLMs behind GenAI apps are continuing to evolve to become more capable and accurate, focusing on specific data sets. 💡 According to Couchbase VP of AI and edge Mohan Varthakavi, “While LLMs provide powerful general capabilities, they are not equipped to answer every question that pertains to a company’s specific business domain.” Though arriving at an AGI-like state is going to take some time and work. ⏳ Mohan continues: “The long-term future is a comprehensive transformation where every application — small, medium, and large — is going to be revised and rewritten using AI. This sweeping movement will mark a fundamental shift from bolt-on solutions to ground-up redesigns, as organizations recognize the benefits of building truly AI-first applications that can fully harness the technology’s capabilities.” 👉🏼 Drew Robb has the story in eWeek: #AI #LLMs #GenAI #2025predictions
