🔧 Advancing Energy Solutions in Iraq 🇮🇶 TotalEnergies, alongside its partners Basrah Oil Company (BOC) and QatarEnergy, is proud to announce the launch of construction for ArtawiGas25, a pioneering gas processing facility in the Basra region. 👏 This facility marks the first step in the Gas Growth Integrated Project (GGIP) and showcases our commitment to sustainable energy development. ArtawiGas25 will: 🔄 Process 50 million cubic feet per day (Mcf/d) of #gas previously flared. ⚡️ Supply power plants to meet the #electricity needs of 200,000 households in Basra. 💡 Reduce emissions and pave the way for modular innovation across other Iraqi oil fields. 👷 ArtawiGas25 represents progress for #Iraq, creating 160 jobs during construction and 30 permanent roles during operation, all for Iraqi nationals. I’m incredibly proud to see one of ADNOC’s companies collaborating with Emerge. Whenever you see Warner Bros. World from Google map, you can see one of Abu Dhabi’s largest rooftop solar installation on Yas Island. An impressive 7-megawatt (MWp) PV system, around 16,000 solar panels spread over the rooftop, it provides nearly 40% of the theme park’s annual energy needs and it is one of Emerge projects—a true testament to the power of renewable energy innovation. Hopefully we see similar projects coming soon, making net zero closer than ever.
