#Bringing_About_Inclusive_Classrooms The goal is to ensure that every student feels valued and can succeed in their own way. An educational institution usually does not cater to a single group in the society and hence the students come from backgrounds that might or might not be conducive. While travelling to small towns, a few years ago, I had met an amazing woman, Bhairavi, in the train. I learnt she was a teacher in a private primary school that had a very hybrid population making it difficult for the teachers and the students in communicating with each other. She slowly brought in some changes that paid off in a big way! "Bhairavi believed that every child deserved a chance to learn. Her classroom was unique, with children of different abilities, including a girl child , who had difficulty speaking. Bhairavi introduced group activities where students supported one another, like pairing a child with the child who had difficulty in speaking. One child would read aloud and the child with speaking issues would express herself on the slate! Bhairavi celebrated every child’s effort, whether it was drawing, singing, or solving math problems. Over time, the class became a close-knit family, where #differences were seen as #strengths. Parents noticed the change, with their children becoming more empathetic and confident. Bhairavi's classroom was a beacon of hope, proving that inclusion could transform lives. Together, they built a community where every child belonged. As the educator, it becomes important that the students do not suffer from the trauma of being side lined or feeling left out. Usually group activities, interactive classroom studies help in the ice breaking process and bring in harmony. It is a constant and consistent effort that needs immense patience. What matters most is that every student is listened to with equal importance and each student is given the space to showcase themselves. In promoting an inclusive way of life from an early age, small but major changes can be brought in to change perspectives. #InclusiveEducation #EducationForAll #EqualityInEducation #AccessibleEducation #SpecialNeedsEducation #DiversityInClassrooms #EmpoweringEveryLearner #EducationWithoutBarriers #LearningForAll #InclusiveLearning #TataTrusts #AzimPremjiFoundation #SaveTheChildrenIndia #AkshayaPatraFoundation #TeachForIndia #PrathamEducation #WiproFoundation #UNICEFEducation #NASSCOMFoundation

This Children’s Week, let’s focus on one of the greatest gifts we can give to our children: self-esteem. The foundation of self-worth is laid in childhood, shaping how children view themselves and approach the world. Here are a few ways we can nurture self-esteem in our children: 👇 🌟 Celebrate Effort, Not Just Results: Teach them that progress and persistence matter. Praise their efforts, not just achievements, so they learn resilience and growth. 🌟Encourage Independence: Let them solve problems and make decisions. Confidence comes when children feel capable and trusted. 🌟 Model Self-Compassion: Children learn by example. Show them how to be kind to themselves by treating your own mistakes with understanding and patience. 🌟 Create Safe Spaces for Expression: Allow children to express their emotions and opinions without fear of judgment. This reinforces that their voice and feelings are valid. 🌟 Be Their Biggest Cheerleader: Celebrate who they are, not who you want them to be. Let them know they are enough—just as they are. By building strong, confident children today, we are shaping resilient and empathetic adults tomorrow. Happy Children’s Week! 😍 🌟 #ChildrensWeek #SelfEsteem #PositiveParenting #Empowerment #youthwellbeing #youthmentoring 💪

𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧: 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 Working with children has always been my passion. I firmly believe that we can bring effective change through them. Children are incredibly receptive to knowledge, and in the right environment, they soak it up like sponges. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working with ladies in the development sector and elders, but my happiest moments have always been working with children. It's not just about teaching; it's about what you learn from them. They keep your authenticity and childishness alive. My goal is to always provide a platform where children& parents both feel comfortable voicing their concerns and receive practical, applicable solutions. Today, I have two pieces of heartwarming news to share: 🌟 I received a wonderful review from loving parents, praising the positive impact we've made. 🎓 Two of my students at the NGO where I work have secured generous donors and admission to the BBA course! Every day, I'm inspired by the incredible potential of the children I work with. They remind me that authentic, positive change is possible, Feeling blessed! #ChildDevelopment #EducationForAll #PassionForChange #NGOImpact #SuccessStories #LinkedInUpdates #OnlineSessionsAreAvailable #artfulthinking #EshaJain 8 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘸𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘦𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘴, 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧-𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭-𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨. So, I've decided to keep momentum on LinkedIn and share what a #studentadministrator in the #UniversityofBristol does. 'Hundreds of people have recently been asking me what my job was all about'. Actually, no. No one has ever shown interest or asked me this question before😄. (Credit must be given to one of the most underrated jobs on the planet)... It's exams' week at UOB and, student administrators collect exams scripts, and check them against e-marksheets. We track absences and ensure that incidents during exams are addressed and ideally resolved as soon as possible. We ensure that academics collect their respective scripts for marking, and, if required, we scan samples for benchmarking. We process self-certifications and respond to queries via email, over the phone. Not very glossy, huh? Wait until I tell you all about the thousand abbreviations and the academic jargon...Oh, wait a minute...do you really want to know? It looks very simple. But all the above implies an enormous amount of preparation; loads of paperwork and intense coordination with other teams, from within and external, well in advance. Then it all works very smoothly, like a strong interlocking of actors and processes. Sometimes, though, things get interesting... And while we are at it, let's give some love to #Black2Nature to ensure that they can keep doing what they do best, that is: · Continue running nature camps for up to 30 young people at each camp; · Keep our activities FREE for all participants, removing barriers to access to nature; ·Provide transport FREE for those who need it; ·Reduce isolation within marginalised communities; ·Improve physical and mental well-being for all participants; ·Break barriers and create community cohesion. It's as simple as clicking on https://lnkd.in/eJPjFcUx How cool it'd be that in 2025 some wonderful children from Bristol's underserved communities and their lovely families were able to enjoy nature trips and camps!!! Notice the year: '2025'. Wouldn't it be great that they could understand the importance of taking care of the environment by learning to plant trees and grow vegetables? What if they managed to see cows, sheep, horses, share spooky stories at night around a fire, do water sports and watch birds in real life? Let's make this dream come true, please! we are running out of time!

While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about - Angela Schwindt. Since it's Children's day, here are five lessons we can learn from our children: 1. Everyday is a new adventure - Kids are fascinated by everything they experience for the first time, and are eager to explore and jump at every opportunity to find out. Just like them, we should start our day with an open mind and a mindset to learn, discover and face new challenges. 2. Be curious and learn - Our children find it hard to take 'no' for an answer. They have a hunger to learn, and so should we. 3. Inclusivity & diversity - Most children are open to meeting new people. They would engage and play with anyone they meet, teaching us inclusivity and tolerance for each other. 4. Do not overthink - Children don't think automatically about the worst when presented with a new situation. They're eager to try something new, and probably take rejections much better. Think positive and be excited about what you can offer to the world. 5. Be confident and just do it - Look at how our children learn to acquire knowledge and use it to their advantage. Harness this mindset for yourself too. Don't rob your chance of taking up new opportunities just because you are limited by your narrow view of who you are and what you can offer. Don't forget you are #MadeForMORE and #gracedforexploits Happy Children's Day to every Uncommon Child ❤️ This is your sign to treat them to something special today! (Also, please forgive our late wishes 🙈) #happychildrensday #happychildren #uncommonmothers #lessonsfromchildren #UncommonWomanMovement

Creating Spaces Where Children Truly Belong At WE Holistic Education, we believe that learning goes beyond textbooks and tests—it’s about creating a space where children can be themselves, free from pressure and fear. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Luna, a young girl who joined us for a trial day. Luna came from a traditional school environment where stress and pressure weighed heavily on her. After spending just one day with us, she shared something that moved us deeply: "This is the first community where I’ve felt peace." Hearing that reminds us exactly why we do what we do. Our mission is to provide a space where children feel safe, valued, and supported—just as they are. A place where they can explore their inner selves, grow their confidence, and embrace their natural curiosity. Days like today bring that mission to life. The children spent time in nature, adventuring together, building teamwork, and learning to trust themselves and each other. They pushed their boundaries, listened to their inner voices, and discovered the beauty of connection—both with the world around them and within themselves. New friendships blossomed, and old ones grew even stronger. It’s these moments—of laughter, awe, and personal growth—that truly define what education should be. Education isn’t just about what children know; it’s about who they’re becoming. We are building a future where peace, belonging, and authentic growth are at the heart of learning. And we’re so proud to share this journey with the incredible children and families in our community. #HolisticEducation #NaturalLearning #ChildhoodDevelopment #EducationForTheFuture #CommunityMatters #OutdoorLearning #WholeChildApproach #LearningThroughPlay #EducationReform

The Crucial Role of Teaching Children to Support Each Other Dear Educators, Parents, and Advocates, In the journey of nurturing our children, there is a profound lesson that often gets overshadowed by academic achievement: the importance of kindness and mutual support. As we strive to create safe and nurturing environments for our young learners, it is so important that we prioritise teaching children to be kind and helpful towards each other. Allow me to share the story of Srikanth Bolla, an inspiration to many differently-abled individuals and some food for thought to many of us who must ponder how we teach children to treat each other. Bolla’s response to APJ Abdul Kalam’s question during a “Lead India” piqued his interest in the child. When the children were asked what they wanted to become when they grow up, Bolla responded saying that he wanted to be India’s first visually impaired president. Later in his life when Bolla had the visionary idea of opening a factory which would create employment for visually impaired individuals, he was supported by sir Kalam. Srikanth was just one among many others like him, a visually impaired child. However, he grew up to be known as the blind man who built a 500 crore company after having been rejected for college education and bagging a full scholarship at the world renowned MIT, Boston. Could that have happened without the love, kindness and support of his teacher and the few others over his journey? Bolla’s story stands as an example of why fostering a culture of kindness is not just a nicety but a necessity in ensuring well-being and successful overall development of children. He was bullied as a child, and even though it fueled his passion to fight for his right to be recognised for his efforts and capability, it could not have been an easy achievement when met by so much indifference, doubt and rejection. It is our responsibility as role models and the first influential It is our responsibility as role models and the first influential figures in our children’s lives to instill values of empathy and support. Let’s champion this cause and create a more compassionate and inclusive world for the future generations! #ChildSafety #Kindness #Empathy #Inclusion #BullyingPrevention #EmotionalWellbeing #CommunitySupport #Parenting #Education
