According to an article published today by the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo, Guyana’s President, Dr. Irfaan Ali highlighted at a forum last month that there are key investment gaps within CARICOM. The Head of State estimates that the region needs: US$373 billion for water and sanitation; US$976 billion for transportation and US$293 billion for telecommunications. Executive Director of the Caribbean Export Development Agency (CEDA), Dr. Damie Sinanan has pointed out that Guyana, as a regional powerhouse, possesses valuable economic models that can assist other CARICOM nations in confronting these challenges. I strongly believe that no single nation can effectively confront these complex issues alone. Our way forward must lie in unity and collaboration. By fostering partnerships and collaborating on technological and knowledge-sharing initiatives, CARICOM countries can not only develop innovative strategies that fill immediate investment needs but also promote long-term resilience. Together, much can be accomplished! #guyana🇬🇾 #caricom #investment
