🤐 The secret to copy testing - The Google Ads feature even the guys that write the support articles don't know about*... According to a support article I came across - "Ad copy testing isn't supported for responsive search ads"... Let me introduce you to Ad Variations! In your search campaigns, head over to Campaigns > Experiments > Ad variations. This is where you you can create variations of your ads to get a better understanding of what is working and what isn't. Want to see what the impact of pinning your headlines is? Want to test some specific messaging? Need to see how a change to your description lines will impact performance? Head over to Ad variations, filter to the ads that you want to test on, and introduce your variant! We've come a long way since the days of A/B testing everything in Google Ads - leaning more into AI powered tools such as Responsive Search Ads. But there are still times that you might need an answer to a specific question, or you need to understand the impact that a change might have before you roll it out more broadly. Ad variations a super powerful way to run this testing within your account (and not just trust that the machine learning is doing everything it should).
