We are very proud to have played a role in the successful delivery of Big Data Belfast, now one of the island's leading tech and AI events. This was a special one to be involved in. The event is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and we were there from the beginning. In our previous incarnation (McGimpsey Communications), we delivered the PR around the first event (the flyer and event are pictured below). Thanks to Laura Haldane for bringing me in back in 2014. That first event brought 70 people into room. Big Data Belfast this week had 70 speakers on the stage... and 700+ people at the event. It has been a great pleasure to see the conference flourish and grow just as the tech sector generally has flourished and grown. The concerted efforts Maureen McCauley, Richard Willis and the team at Analytics Engines (led by Scott Fischaber, Aislinn Rice and Oliver Lennon), alongside sponsors, exhibitors, contributors and delegates made this event a great success. For our part, we were very pleased to be able to support the agenda curation and offer guidance around themes and topic areas to ensure the interests of both speakers and delegates are aligned. The real meat of the engagement lay in the content creation and promotional activity, creating valuable content for sponsors and speakers alike. Covering press releases, interview features, social media content and targeted outreach, we played our part in generating buzz around the conference. As we reflect on the success of Big Data Belfast 2024, we are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a landmark event. Thanks to Analytics Engines for investing their trust in our marketing and PR services over the course of the past decade.
