🎯 When Black Friday FOMO meets perfectly-timed marketing… Fashion Nova hit me with this SMS gem on Black Friday: “Next 100 orders get $1,500 cash!” 🤑 I had my phone in hand, a pair of cargo pants happened to be sitting in my cart, and my Shop app ready to go. Less than 60 seconds later, I was checked out. I've never purchased anything quicker 🤣 The T&C’s say winners will be finalized in 3 business days, so I’ll let you know later this week if I’m $1,500 richer. But even if I’m not, I have to give credit where it’s due — this is a masterclass in incentivizing customers to pull the trigger. Why it worked on me: 📱 The timing: They hit me during peak shopping frenzy. 🎁 The offer: Who wouldn’t want a chance at $1,500? ⚡ The urgency: "First 100 orders" + Black Friday buzz = immediate action. Now, let’s just hope it’s legit and I made it in the top 100 (wish me luck!). Either way, this is a great example of how the right mix of urgency, personalization, and incentive can drive conversions. Sometimes a little push is all it takes to turn consideration into action. You don't always have to give a discount on Black Friday... And that doesn't mean you won't have a Black Friday promo. You only need to do it differently. Black Friday is one of the biggest shopping seasons, and any offer owner should take advantage of that because buyers have less resistance during this period. I'm personally looking forward to it and have a budget for things I want to get. What does that tell you? It means that your customers are actively looking for great deals and are primed to make purchases. Instead of simply discounting your offers, you can get creative and provide unique value propositions that will appeal to your audience during this shopping frenzy. For instance, you could offer a limited-time bundle with additional bonuses or exclusive content not available at other times. Or, you could create a special Black Friday edition of your course or program with extra resources and support. The key is to make your offer stand out and create a sense of urgency and scarcity around it. Show your clients that they're getting an exceptional deal that won't be available again anytime soon. When you think outside the box and offer something truly special, you can maximize your sales and build loyalty with your audience. So, don't just default to the same old discounts this Black Friday.
