🕯 The Ritual of Light: Kwanzaa & Hanukkah 🕎 The lighting of candles holds profound symbolism in many traditions. ✨ The Seven Candles of Kwanzaa represent the Nguzo Saba (Seven Principles), a celebration of community, culture, and self-determination. Each flame ignites a shared value—unity, creativity, and purpose—that strengthens individuals and communities alike. ✨ The Eight Candles of Hanukkah honor resilience and miracles, marking the triumph of light over darkness. Each night’s flame brings reflection, renewal, and hope. At Helix, we explore rituals like these as gateways to deeper meaning. Lighting a candle isn’t just a physical act—it’s a moment to pause, connect, and embody intention. 💡 Learn how these practices and others weave into our teachings of community care, spiritual wisdom, and personal growth. Your friends and colleagues will be celebrating Eid soon 🌙 Here are 7 things you should know. 1. Eid-al-Fitr "the festival of breaking the fast" marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. 👉 It's celebrated on the 1st of Shawwal and ends a month of fasting for most Muslims and typically lasts for 3 days. 2. When it starts usually depends on whether the crescent is spotted so Muslims may not know if tomorrow is Eid until the night before. 👉 Islamic months like Ramadan can last either 29 or 30 days depending on the moon sighting. 3. Eid-al-Fitr is one of two Eids on the Islamic calendar. 👉 the 2nd one is Eid-al-Adha which marks the end of the holy pilgrimage to Mecca each year. 4. Most start the day with Eid prayers first thing in the morning. 👉 it's prayed in congregation across mosques and Islamic centres all over the world. 5. It's not just about feasting; it’s a time rich with gratitude, giving back to the community, and family. 👉 it’s a reflection of hard-earned patience and spirituality. 5. Greet your friends and colleagues with “Eid Mubarak” (Blessed Eid) or “Eid Sa’eed” (Happy Eid). 👉 it shows your respect and well-wishes for their significant day. 6. If you’re invited to an Eid celebration, opting for modest and semi-formal attire is best (you don't need to go full Arab style like me) 👉 it's a sign of respect for the cultural norms. 7. If you’re visiting someone’s home, sweets, chocolates, or flowers make for thoughtful Eid gifts. 👉 it’s not just about the gift but the sentiment of sharing joy. Most of all, have fun and enjoy the festivities - it's a time for celebration and strengthening bonds! Eid Mubarak everyone 🌙

Here’s a draft for your LinkedIn post about Hanukkah: Illuminating the Darkness: The Essence of Hanukkah As we light the menorah each night of Hanukkah, we are reminded of a profound truth: even the smallest light can push back the darkest night. Hanukkah is a celebration of resilience and hope. It commemorates a time when a small group of people stood firm in their beliefs, overcoming incredible odds to rededicate their temple and reignite their faith. The miracle of the oil lasting eight days teaches us that perseverance, even in the face of scarcity, can yield extraordinary outcomes. But beyond the historical narrative, Hanukkah carries a timeless message: the power of light over darkness. It is a reminder that in our personal and professional lives, we have the capacity to illuminate challenges with innovation, optimism, and collaboration. As we kindle each flame, let’s reflect on the ways we can be a source of light in our communities. Whether it’s through small acts of kindness, sharing knowledge, or standing up for what is right, we all have the ability to create sparks that brighten the world around us. Wishing you a joyous Hanukkah filled with light, warmth, and inspiration! 🕎✨

A Rare Convergence of #Light and #Joy: #Christmas & #Hanukkah on the Same Day” Today, December 25, 2024, is extra special. It’s not only the day #Christmas is celebrated worldwide but also the first night of #Hanukkah this year; a rare alignment that brings together two traditions that light up the world in their own ways. As a proud #Muslim, I find moments like these especially meaningful. They remind us that, despite our differences, we share common values of hope, love, and renewal. At their core, these holidays celebrate the power of light 💡 whether it’s the menorah 🕎 candles or the warmth of Christmas 🎄lights—to guide us through the darkest times. In the spirit of these celebrations, I’m inspired to reflect on what 2025 holds: - Hope for continued innovation and connection, breaking barriers with technology. - Openness to embracing diversity; not just in culture, religion, and beliefs, but also in thought and ideas. - Light as a symbol of progress, illuminating paths to solve the world’s challenges. As we move into the new year, I want to carry forward this spirit of unity in my personal and professional journey at ADVNTBLANKET, as we aim to make #itsm fun 🤩 again, implementing #haloitsm | #halocrm | #halopsa for organizations of all sizes across the world 🌎 Let’s continue to work together to build a world where our differences are strengths, our goals are shared, and our dreams are limitless. Wishing everyone celebrating a very Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, and a season filled with light and joy!!! #Hanukkah #Christmas #DiversityInTech #Unity #Innovation #haloitsm #advntblanket #ninjaone
