How often do you validate reviews from sites like Capterra and G2 when writing a product roundup or product listicles? The pros, cons, things the user liked about the product and what they disliked—every user has their fair share of experience with the product. But as a writer, you have to be unbiased in your piece. So, you'll have to verify whether the statement user shared *actually* makes sense or not. For example, if a user shares what they dislike the most about MailChimp is that it offers the pricing based on subscriber count—you can't label it as the product's con. Almost every email marketing platform offers a subscriber count-based pricing, especially for beginner pricing plans. To validate such reviews, you must have understanding of the kind of product you're writing for. If you're writing for a product demo tool, don't just get to know the specific product but what the traits every product demo tool should have. So, before writing your roundup piece: • run a regular search on the key features of the overall tool you're writing for • study the tool you've included in your piece based on the overall features and shortlisted reviews #saasmarketing #blogwriting #freelancewriter

How to Write a Compelling Call-to-Action (CTA) "Your email was opened. Your content was read. Now what? 🤔 If your CTA doesn’t compel the reader to act, all that effort could be wasted! How do you work on #listiclearticles? You know your client software, yes! However, do you know as well, about its close competitors? Probably not. Often one business highlights features the other might already have (only not greatly advertised). There lies the challenge of creating a go-to listicle that's much more than a compilation of product features from across site homepages. 2-3 things I do if I get the time to write more powerful listicle articles, include: ---Reading up user reviews on Reddit, g2, and elsewhere ---Trying to find out if a competitor software already has a feature my client highlights as a USP ---Looking for what people say about the concerned software on social media ---Identifying common pain points ICPs face and how each brings a solution At this point, it becomes essential to say: The greatest listicles are born of real experience. However, not everyone can get their hands on 5 or 7 products everytime. That's why, competitor research (of the top 5 at least) is so critical when you onboard a new client. Let me know more tips you use to curate powerful listicles? #saaswriting #SaaSwriter #B2Bwriting #saas #blogwriting

A simple and effective strategy to increase your conversion rate. Your copy should be conversational. As if you're discussing with your prospect one-on-one. So because of that you need to be mindful of the tone you use in your copy. If you sound desperate and needy you'll lose sales. Why? Because the more desperate you sound the less attractive your copy appear. Also... It's best not to use an aggressive tone. Instead... show concern in your copy. Use a friendly tone. Let your prospect know you want to help... ...and your products and services are the solution to his problem. Humans buy from people they perceive as friends and who have their best interests in mind. Show them you have their best interest. #Conversion #ProblemSolving #Sales #FreelanceCopywriter

if you're simply embedding product features at the end of your article, you're doing it WRONG. you might have heard: → introduce readers to your product → focus on product benefits, not features → add CTA to your product to get conversions maybe you have been doing it too. but has this really brought you results? even when you're writing blog posts that satisfy E-E-A-T, you're not getting enough product signups or demo bookings. it's because your product-led strategy has a flaw. you might be educating your readers with TOFU pieces and telling them about your product. with a CTA at the end. you need to show readers the value your product has to offer. with your TOFU pieces, you might be making them aware of the pain points, but you're not putting your product as the solution. but hey, you can change this. with a simple tweak. ↳map out your reader persona and show how the reader can benefit from the product if they embed it in their workflow. weave the exact picture. ↳bring in case studies and testimonials to showcase how your product has simplified the lives of your existing customers. throw in the numbers and examples, or even link to specific case studies. your audience doesn't need lazy product plugs but the *actual* solution. tell them how your product can be the hero to their problem. p.s. want a B2B writer to write converting product-led blog posts for your SaaS brand?
