🌍 Presentation on the Main Problem of Pakistan 🇵🇰 I had the privilege of presenting on a critical issue impacting our nation, as assigned by our esteemed professor, Dr. Abubakhar. Tackling the challenges Pakistan faces has deepened my understanding of the socio-economic landscape and the potential solutions we can work towards collectively. Through this presentation, I aimed to shed light on key areas of concern and propose sustainable strategies that can lead to positive change. It’s through informed discussions and proactive efforts that we can truly make a difference! #Pakistan #SocialIssues #SustainableDevelopment #ChangeMakers #EducationForAll #ProblemSolving #Leadership

I enjoyed listening to one of my mentors in education Mrs. Folasade Adefisayo and then had the difficult task of following her wonderful speech with one of my own to the group of school leaders and school owners graduating from lait foundation’s SALLC training. I spoke about three trends they needed to focus on as school leaders in order to prepare their teachers and students for the global economy — 1. Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the healthy ways they can incorporate it in classrooms to improve teacher effectiveness and student learning outcomes; 2. Mental Health and the need to provide safe spaces for both teachers and students to receive the mental health services they need in a world where social media, permacrisis and unusually long economic downturns are wreaking havoc on young people’s mental well-being; and 3. Exploding youth poplulation in Africa and its implications on the global economy, especially in a country like Nigeria where there are more babies born every year than in all of Europe combined. This means that they are responsible for educating the global workforce — as the rest of the world ages, they are going to look to Africa to provide the doctors, nurses, teachers, engineers and so on. Are they leading schools that adequately prepare our young people to meet this challenge? Are they preparing the entrepreneurs that will build the infrastructure (education, healthcare, agriculture etc.) needed to sustain this population explosion? I hope I was able to thank them properly for taking on these complex issues and motivate them enough to collaborate and solve them.
Stand up for the Champions! 🥳🥳 The leaders in our education system, have the unique opportunity to create positive change in their students’ lives. Effective school leaders are able to create environments that shape, inspire, challenge, and nurture students, and their impact cannot be overemphasized. ✅ 💯 We are proud of all the SALLC Cohort 9 School leaders for their dedication to the mission and ministry! We thank them for their commitment to the work to be done! We applaud them for their resilience and grit! 👏🏽 👏🏽 On Wednesday 19th of June 2204, we shall be celebrating and acknowledging their efforts in a Virtual Graduation Ceremony. We are excited to have powerful leaders such as Mrs Folasade Adefisayo of Leading Learning Limited and Mrs Simi Nwogugu, President and CEO of Junior Achievement Africa as our Guest Speakers 💥🥳✨ Congratulations to all the Excellent Leaders of SALLC Cohort 9! YOU did it! 👏👏👏 #SALLC #Cohort9 #graduation #ceremony #executivecoaching #program #schoolleaders #schoolleadership #leadershipdevelopment #laitfoundation #africa

Since 2022, I have been applying for a fellowship that I believed would be a turning point in my journey. Despite multiple attempts, the opportunity never materialized—until now, I can see why. It wasn’t the right time. Looking back, I realize that every "not yet" was preparing me for something bigger. A few days ago, I received an unexpected email that left me overjoyed—an invitation from YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa to join their Cohort 60 Virtual Leadership Program! This opportunity could not have come at a better time. As I navigate my own personal growth and manage my work commitments, a virtual cohort is exactly what I need to focus, learn, and grow as a leader without compromising my other responsibilities. I am eager to start on this journey and soak in every lesson YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa has to offer. Sometimes, the best things truly do come when we’re ready to embrace them.
