On this Earth Day, as each other day, we wish for all humans deep and transformational shift in connection with Mother Earth. From our vantage point as a construction company, we want to remind the world that the construction industry accounts for more than 33% of greenhouse gasses, of which almost half of that (16% total global GHG) is the production of cement and steel alone. Our human built environment is the largest footprint we have on Earth. Thankfully, humanity is starting to use modern technology to reinvent the industry towards one that uses REGENERATIVE building materials, like our beloved bamboo. Bioconstruction is necessary if we are to continue living and thriving on Earth. #EarthDay #bioconstruction #biofibers #bamboo #regenerative #SDGs #

One of the most frequent inquiries regarding the Earth Power Lodge (EPL) pertains to the magnitude of its power generation capabilities. While it may be challenging to provide a definitive answer to such a broad question, the primary objective of the EPL is to establish a sustainable solution for power generation that minimizes the impact on biodiversity within the region. The EPL aims to address the issue of soil degradation while simultaneously fostering a Regenerative Economic environment for the surrounding communities. The scale of power generation is a crucial factor in determining the feasibility and effectiveness of deployment. Each EPL is its own microgrid and should be capable of generating enough power, both electricity and heat, to sustain operations from the waste it consumes. In some regions, there are enough input resources to not only sustain operations but to generate excess power for a farm or small community and still accomplish the regenerative mandate. We will soon have more information on our website so that it may be possible for you to answer the question and decide if you want to become part of our Regenerative Network. regenitech.com/network to learn more. #savesoil #renewableenergy #regenerativeagriculture #regenitech #theneedtogrow

We have added more storage to the Earth Power Lodge (EPL) in Evergreen, Montana. The power that each EPL system requires to 'sustain' production is referred to as the 'parasitic load'. In the case of each EPL, we use as many 'passive' resources as possible to minimize the parasitic load on the system. This EPL Node uses very little AC power to operate, virtually none, so we say that it is a battery-powered biorefinery. Very helpful in areas where power is unreliable or non-existent.
