UCO is the new palm. As you dig deeper you just might find it is not as sustainable as some profess.

Hi Paolo, I do agree, experience from recent biofuel seminars is that many key players within aviation, shipping and heavy transportation is looking towards used cooking oil to meet their 2030 targets all though knowing that it will not make them able to reach 2035 targets. Due to relative low prices this seriously harm development of long term solutions like e-methanol or alcohol to jet, an effect clearly seen in Europe today. UCO is, without going into discussion about sustainability, a limited resource and sensitive to possible fraud.
