BIOKET Bioeconomy Key Enabling Technologies platform’s Post

On June 12th, EuropaBio - the European Association for Bioindustries presented its roadmap for biotech as a powerful engine for growth and competitiveness across EU countries, regions, and industries. Building on the Communication on ‘Boosting biotech & biomanufacturing in the EU’, the Association has identified actions to secure EU leadership in the global race for this critical technology. The EU’s strong innovation base and existing biotechnology capacity place it in a powerful and promising position to emerge as a global leader and boost the growth and resilience of the EU economy. EuropaBio has identified recommendations based on three key goals to drive the Initiative and support the biotech industries in Europe in the 2024-2029 period.
