Our vision is to make the world cleaner, healthier, and more productive. As part of this, we are using our technologies to better understand microplastics and their potential impacts on the environment and our health. Plastic waste can be very harmful to human life and the climate, especially when it is not processed properly. To protect our future, we need to increase our knowledge of plastics and how they behave when exposed to nature, so that we can propose solutions to minimize their potential impact. Led by Utrecht University, The MOMENTUM Project aims to create microplastic ‘passports’ for microplastic toxicology studies, allowing researchers to compare results using standardized materials.
