We talk to the first person that will talk to us and we label them as our champion. Sales reps need to earn trust, educate champions, and provide value throughout the sales cycle. It’s a barren wasteland when it comes to help around CMMC for MSPs. Brian’s program is the only one I know of that focuses on helping MSPs get ready to support their clients CMMC journey. MSPs are the greatest threat to the SMB DiB environment. Most SMB companies are dragging their feet looking for a qualified MSPs that are willing to become level two. I would be surprised if this doesn’t end up in a special session before congress. DiB SMB companies pleading their case on why they can’t participate in the CMMC program because nobody has the bandwidth to help them in the needed timeframe. It’s going to be an interesting few years.
