Privi Life Sciences is hiring Position: Jr. Scientist / Scientist / Sr. Scientist – Formulation R&D Qualification: M. Sc in Pesticides and Agrochemicals/ Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. Experience: 2 - 5+ Years Industry Name (Type): Pesticides/ Agro Chemical / Bio fertilizer / Bio Stimulant / Nano Chemical / Herbal Formulation / Biotechnology. Location: Head Office – Navi Mumbai Language: English Hindi & Marathi (desirable) Key Area of responsibilities 1.     Develop formulations for organic fertilizers, micronutrients, biofertilizers, biostimulants, biopesticides and nano fertilizers. Incorporate inputs such as surfactants/emulsifiers, stabilizers, and thickeners to improve product efficacy and performance. 2.     Expand the product portfolio by creating a range of value-added bio-fertilizer/biopesticide products using organic raw materials, contributing to the company's growth and market competitiveness. 3.     Demonstrate a proven track record in designing and developing agro-formulations, showcasing expertise and innovation in the field. 4.     Conduct formulation development and perform analytical characterization of developed formulations in the laboratory, ensuring quality and consistency. 5.     Conduct deviation analysis in existing products, identify root causes, conduct literature reviews, perform patent searches, and explore alternative solutions to overcome formulation challenges. 6.     Coordinate the transfer of developed technologies to manufacturing plants for pilot and bulk production, ensuring smooth transition and scalability. 7.     Maintain accurate data records and provide daily reports on formulation development activities, progress, and outcomes. 8.     Utilize specialized tools to interpret data effectively, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of product properties and behavior. 9.     Apply advanced manufacturing techniques such as spray drying, freeze drying, encapsulation, and bioreactors/fermenters to optimize production processes for scalability and efficiency.   Skills Requirement 1.     Strong knowledge and expertise in Agriculture, Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biotechnology, with a focus on their application in agriculture. 2.     Understanding of crop nutrition and crop protection, including the technical aspects of agricultural inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides. 3.     Knowledge and experience in scaling up processes for agricultural products, ensuring efficient production and manufacturing. 4.     Fundamental understanding of chemistry principles and familiarity with basic analytical equipment used in agricultural research and development. 5.     Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 6.     Adaptability to changing project requirements and a willingness to travel as needed.  #Agroinputs #Crop protection #Crop nutrition #Biofertilizers #Biostimulants
