The global center of innovation in 21st century is now located in Dubai and The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The reason is the visionary leadership of the governments lead by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in Dubai and Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud in Saudi Arabia. Both of these visionaries have committed their governments to not only innovation to benefit their countries, but the larger global community. Meanwhile, the governments of the West continue to stifle innovation with burdens of regulation and backward-looking mandated standards that are locked in the 20th century.

A quick visit to #Dubai, and as always, it was incredibly inspiring! Great conversations with Maaz Zahid Qureshi and friends, exploring a myriad of ideas including a key point we all agreed on - innovation cannot be processed or standardised!   A huge congrats to Maaz for the amazing work he's doing in the retail space, creating new ways to enhance the customer experience at ADNOC Group! I’m excited to see what he and the team come up with next.   Innovation is about pushing boundaries and stepping outside of our comfort zones. Here’s what we discussed:   1. Innovation can’t be boxed in: The best ideas often come from unexpected places. 2. It’s messy: Real breakthroughs don’t follow a linear path—they evolve through trial and error. 3.
