Recently, I helped a client solve a major challenge with streamlining her team's communication and collaboration. The client was facing numerous industry changes and organizational demands, making it difficult for her team to stay focused and aligned. By working closely with her, we established a clear set of 90-day strategic priorities that catered to her team's needs and the organization’s goals. Through targeted coaching, we prioritized the most impactful tasks for her team, her organization, and herself. This approach allowed her to let go of unnecessary distractions and concerns, enabling her to solidify a 90-day plan that focuses on measurable results. As a result, her team could perform efficiently, and she could step back from micromanaging without worry. It's been incredible to witness her transformation and the positive impact on her team's performance! Ready to get the same kinds of results? How to keep yourself and your team fresh and relevant! Your first order of business is to get a clear understanding of what Sr. Leader’s expectations are. Break that into understandable action items as a people leader. Help each member set their goals and support their pathway to success through meaningful conversations rather than traditional coaching. Your team enjoys challenges and victories, but training, whether internal or external, will be necessary along the way. Consider scheduling 3-day professional development classes for midweek sessions, avoiding overwhelming your team. Periodically check in on their progress and provide assistance when needed. Above all, demonstrate appreciation and gratitude for their efforts. Consider organizing a team lunch at a nice venue or a day of team-building activities. Remember, your team members have lives outside of work, so respect their time off. These tips will help you maintain a competitive edge for yourself and your team.

Reflecting on my journey as a Salon & Spa owner, I realize just how much the right mentors, advisors, and team members propelled my success. I had incredible support—and yet, if I'm being honest, there were many moments where I needed more: deeper guidance, accountability, and strategic advice to keep the business growing profitably - and sustainably. That experience planted the seed for a vision—a program designed to give business owners the structure, mentorship, and tools to scale without losing sight of their quality of life. Last year, that vision became reality: a 12-month program where owners can grow into impactful leaders, build multiple revenue streams, improve delegation, and redefine their goals—all with a network of like-minded professionals on a similar journey. I’m excited to say that our members are thriving, and we're opening the doors to 5 new spots for growth-driven business owners ready to take their results to the next level. If that sounds like you, let's connect! Send me a message with “Breakthrough” to and I'll share the details to see if it’s a fit.
