“BizJetJobs has been an invaluable asset in my career transition. After 38 years with the airlines, returning to a professional corporate pilot role seemed daunting. Thanks to BizJetJobs and Rick, this transition not only became possible but also enjoyable. BizJetJobs excels in advertising opportunities that match my qualifications and preferences. Rick’s expertise and personal guidance were instrumental in helping me find a position that aligns with my passion for flying and allows me to work with great people. What sets BizJetJobs apart is their personal touch. Unlike many impersonal job application processes, Rick and his team were always available to answer calls and provide support. Their hands-on approach made the entire process feel personal and supportive, ensuring that I wasn't just another application in the system. I’m grateful for BizJetJobs and Rick for their dedication and for making my career transition smoother and more fulfilling.” - Larry D.

🌟 Key Takeaways from Richard "Rick" Leach Keynote this morning at the Aviation Education Conference in Memphis, where the FlightLogger team is participating 🌟 ✈️ Not All Flight Hours Are Created Equal While the majority of flight hours might be spent in a high-quality structured environment, don’t let the remaining hours be just about burning fuel. Make every flight count by coming prepared and focusing on quality, not just quantity. 💼 Credentials Aren’t Everything Yes, licenses and ratings are important, but soft skills are what set you apart. It’s not just about being the highest-ranking person onboard—be likable, be a team player, and show curiosity about the roles around you. Those are the traits that airlines are (also) looking for. 🏆 Stand Out and fight above your weight. As you prepare for your career, think about how you can show future employers what makes you different. It’s not just about your flight time—let them know how you can contribute beyond the cockpit. 🎯 Find the Right Fit Not all airlines are the same. Think about where your personality will shine and focus your job search on those companies. You’ll thrive in a place that fits your style and values. 🔍 Keep Your Eyes Open to Opportunities Aviation is a huge industry with so many paths. Stay curious, be open, and explore every opportunity that speaks to you. You might be surprised where your passion will lead. While we at FlightLogger are obsessed with creating a seamless user experience for managers, instructors, and students, we echo the message from Richard "Rick" Leach about being curious and a team player. #PilotTraining #FlightInstructors #AviationCareers #FlightHours #SoftSkills #GoJetAirlines #AviationEducationConference #AviationEducationConference2024
