How do you build a high-performing team? Forming strong relationships with colleagues is key. One of the ways we do this is The Blakeney Brew ☕ Every Wednesday morning, we take a break from our desks to gather over tea and pastries and talk about life away from work. Running a marathon? Learning a new language? Great cultures are the bedrock of high performance. #Blakeney #BlakeneyValues #teamculture

Teamwork is all about role clarity. When things get hectic and chaotic, each person’s ability to step up and do their part to keep things running like a well-oiled machine is critical to the overall team’s success. As I sit here in Grogan’s Pub in Dublin, sipping a pint of Guinness and munching on a toastie, it’s very apparent that this team has developed a crystal clear method of dividing and conquering their workload. With minimal communication, other than with customers, drink and food orders are filled almost seamlessly, and despite the close quarters, they operate efficiently and calmly. Teams should always have stretch goals and idealistic objectives, but the ability to execute the daily fundamentals flawlessly and with calm precision is the foundation you need to build your broader strategy on. #teamwork #collaboration #publife #ireland

🏆 Proud to be a member of Vista’s Soccer Team! ⚽🏅 This experience has been nothing short of amazing. Not only is it a great way to stay active, but it also brings so many benefits to the workplace: ✅ Teamwork: Working together on the field enhances collaboration, communication, and trust among colleagues. ✅ Leadership: Being the captain has taught me how to motivate, support, and guide the team both in and out of the game. ✅ Networking: It’s a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with people from different departments. ✅ Stress Relief: A healthy way to take a break from work and recharge with some friendly competition. Looking forward to more games, teamwork, and fun. I truly believe that activities like these help strengthen the company culture and create lasting bonds between colleagues. #Vista #Teamwork #TeamSpirit #WorklifeBalance

What is the best or worst teambuilding activity/event you have been on – and why was it great/awful? It might be that the activity itself was either refreshingly novel or brilliant, or inappropriate/underwhelming; or a simple idea that either met the aim of bonding your team closer or failed to bring you together? Or it could be a fairly standard teambuilding session that was memorable (in a good or bad way) for some other reason...

Overdue picture from a recent onsite team meeting we had, coupled with three takeaways: 1. Find the time to get your team together in-person. The ideation and conversation that happens outside of a video call is invaluable. 2. It’s so important to set time aside for strategy. We all move so fast, and leveraging a talented team’s “group think” mentality gives you so many great ideas to improve current state. 3. Never, ever agree to a team building activity that you are terrible at. Who from New England prefers big ball bowling? Apparently, everyone but me.

💡 A meal is greater than the sum of the ingredients. But an amazing meal doesn't happen by hoping the ingredients work together magically. It's similar with teams...a team *can* be greater than the sum of its parts. That usually happens when the team decides to practice working *on* the team vs. only *in* the team. I've never seen a team win big that doesn't practice being a team. Have you? Sports teams practice all the time - how they communicate together, give and receive feedback, work through tension, and deliberately focus on their purpose. What's one thing your team can practice this week, that could lead to better connection or effectiveness together? ✨ #teamcoaching #powerofteams #practice #teameffectiveness

How important is food for your team? For us, it’s HUGE! Every Monday, we bring the team together for lunch (We call it slouch). We chat about our weekends, upcoming projects, and enjoy each other's company. There’s something special about gathering around food—it creates an informal space for building stronger relationships and sparking meaningful conversations. When was the last time you brought your team together for a meal? If it’s been a while, give it a try. You might be surprised by how valuable it can be for team dynamics and company culture.

How do you describe team bonding? Team bonding is the process of building trust and closeness among a team, and improving communication. It involves increasing loyalty to the team and to each other. One way to help this process is through fun activities that create positive shared experiences. Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team. Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships. When 'I' is replaced with 'We', even the illness becomes wellness. We must learn to live together as brothers or perish together as fools. #TeamBonding #TeamBuilding #TeamStrength
