Blizzcode Academy’s Post

Happy new week everyone 🎉🎉 Wishing everyone a fulfilling week ahead Last week, our community members had a wonderful session with Kufre-abasi Bassey. He talked about - Building a Personal Brand as a Web Developer. He highlighted the importance of building a personal brand not only has a web developer but as a designer, marketer or any field. Personal branding builds trust and create an opportunity for people to know you and your skill set. Some ways to build your personal brand as a developer are: 📌 Have what you are known for: Is it backend web development, frontend or fullstack web development? 📌 Build a portfolio (a showcase of works you have done) 📌 Have an online profile (LinkedIn profile, GitHub profile, etc) 📌 Document works that you have done. It serves as a reference to any challenge you have had and solutions that helped you with it. 📌 Join communities. It opens the door to job recommendations and offers. Thank you Kufre-abasi Bassey for dishing out these words of wisdom to our community members. 🔸🔸🔸 Speaking of community, Blizzcode Academy have a community for our techies and non-techies too 😊. We regularly host engaging sessions for our members, interact and have fun together.
