A powerful story told well will connect with you at a soul level… Storytelling at its finest yesterday at the Edward Scissorhands ✂️ ballet 🩰 Not a word spoken but the audience were gripped to their seats and lots of tears shed throughout (me included 😢) It’s one of my favourite films of all time but the ballet took it to another level - I was in awe Here are 5 personal reflections from this incredible performance about acceptance, identity, & compassion 🎭 1. Embrace your uniqueness and differences - celebrate your individuality and appreciate the beauty in what makes you different. Rather than conforming, embrace your quirks and find your own place in the world 2. Compassion transforms lives. Fact - the power of empathy and understanding can transform lives. Extend kindness to those who seem different or misunderstood. Everyone carries their own burdens and stories 3. Adaptability and resilience - life will throw curveballs your way so resilience is essential. Learn to pivot, find creative solutions, and keep moving FORWARD despite adversity 4 Appearances can deceive: - look beyond surface-level perfection and appreciate the complexities within ourselves and others. True beauty lies in authenticity and vulnerability 5. Love conquers all: - love doesn’t always follow conventional norms; it can bridge gaps and defy expectations. Imagine Deadpool & Wolverine sitting down having a sales conversation. I put this little script together of how I think the conversation would go. **INT. ABANDONED WAREHOUSE - DAY** *Deadpool and Wolverine sit across from each other at a makeshift table. Deadpool, in his red suit, fiddles with a katana. Wolverine, in his signature leather jacket, lights a cigar.* **Deadpool:** (grinning) So, Logan, how does a grumpy Canadian with anger issues become a top-notch salesman? **Wolverine:** (smirking) It's simple, Wade. You just gotta know your product. Like how I know how to slice and dice anyone who crosses me. **Deadpool:** (laughing) Right, right. And always be closing, huh? Like closing that wound with your healing factor. **Wolverine:** (taking a drag of his cigar) And don't forget the follow-up. Kind of like how you keep coming back from the dead, no matter how annoying you get. **Deadpool:** (mock offended) Hey, persistence is key! And if all else fails, just threaten to cut off a finger or two. Works every time. **Wolverine:** (chuckling) Dark, but effective. Just remember, it's all about charm and intimidation. Mostly intimidation. **Deadpool:** (raising his katana) To successful sales and severed limbs! **Wolverine:** (clinking his cigar against Deadpool's katana) Cheers. **FADE OUT.**
