Saiyo Consulting is 1 year old this week 🙌 Despite having had a strong 1st year, I don't feel like we got our sh#t together until these last few months. In hindsight what did we get wrong ⬇ - WAY TOO VANILLA 😫 SaaS recruitment is one of the most saturated markets in the world and despite having a really disruptive product offering, we have approached the market in a vanilla, just another recruiter kind of way (We still are 🙈 ). - Didn't pivot to our productised services fast enough. We should have committed to Recruitment as a Service sooner (as soon as we closed our 1st customers) way too risk averse. Since the pivot on track to +£350,000 ARR in 1st 6 months, could have been much higher. 🙅♂️ - Relied way too much on previous relationships and referrals = growth but slow. Didn't get outbound sales engine working properly until 6 months in (massive room for improvement). Leads Leads Leads! 📈 Whats next ⏭ : - No more vanilla - We have some awesome things planned including an exciting brand relaunch and new website (simplified offering) and we plan to grow in public, 'warts and all' WATCH THIS SPACE - SaaS platform incoming; Which we believe will be the future of Fractional and Interim hiring in SaaS (HireCloud.io) to complement what we do globally on a permanent basis, more detail soon. - Hiring - Excited to have someone new joining Saiyo before the end of the year (announcement to follow) and new hires planned for Q1 2025. But most of all I want to thank all of our customers, friends and family for the support in the 1st year, I bounce out of bed every morning because of you all. Write a truly inspired blog post “Write a truly inspired blog post that describes the company, the mission, the vision, how it's amazing, why you're amazing and why it's going to be amazing if that candidate comes and works with you.” 2. Inspired networking. “This isn't for everybody, but if you can really go out there and talk to everybody you know and find those amazing people, and inspire the people you know to help you find amazing people, you're going to do a good job.” He continues: “If you can do both of those, then what happens is you get amazing people quickly.
