NICE GUYS FINISH FIRST: If there was a “Nice Guy Award” in Top Echelon Network, Gary Silver of The Shay Group would definitely be a finalist for the award. That’s because not only was Gary an exemplary member of Top Echelon during his nearly 30-year run in the Network, but he’s also one of the most genuinely nice guys you could ever have the fortune of meeting. And productive. Yes, Gary Silver was quite productive as a Top Echelon #recruiter. And for all of these reasons—and more—we’re pleased to announce that Gary Silver is a 2024 inductee into the Top Echelon Hall of Fame! Gary started his #recruiting career in 1987, after 10 years in Healthcare and Insurance system analysis and programming. As a result, The Shay Group specialized in Healthcare and Information Technology with a focus on Interface Development. During his time in the Network, Gary embraced The Four Pillars of Top Echelon—Quality, Communication, Trust, and Active Participation. However, the Pillar that Gary exemplified the most might have been Trust. That’s because he formed and developed trusting relationships with his trading partners. As an example, he made 50 split placements—that’s right, 50—with one of his trading partners: Donna Carroll, CPC of Systems Personnel. You don’t make that many splits with another recruiter unless you trust them implicitly . . . and they trust you just as much. For his part, Gary is as appreciative of his experience in Top Echelon Network as his trading partners were appreciative of him. “There’s no question what TE has meant to me,” he said. “In good times, it’s made my revenue stronger by many miles, and in bad times, it’s been a life saver. As Thanksgiving week continues, I find myself reflecting on the partnerships that have shaped my career. While I’ve shared my gratitude for coworkers and career opportunities, today I want to spotlight the incredible customers and vendors I’ve had the privilege of working with. 🌟 I am honored to work alongside some great people who are passionate about helping others and making a difference in the community. For the past several weeks, our sales and marketing team at ShareSTAFF has been strategizing and planning our first company-wide initiative. This initiative was collaborative and fun and added some friendly competition between the teams, but it resulted in massive success. I did want to give a special shout-out to some remarkable players from our two-day event who went above and beyond to ensure that we were successful by 124% of the completion goal that we were initially aiming for. 🚀 ⭐ Chauncy Fifer - You led one of the teams, and I appreciated your thoroughness and dedication to gathering information. This led to the implementation of several proposals for our services. Your feedback has enabled our team to develop and work together at each event. ⭐ Selena N. -You made the impossible happen by ensuring that our target market was organized and that we had administrative support throughout the entire process. You even took the initiative to speak directly with customers in person, going above and beyond to make it happen. ⭐ Tee Alarcon - Your creativity and innovation brought some incredible ideas for promoting our brand through the goodie bags you prepared for our clients. The bags included a fun message and our contact information. We appreciate your participation in yesterday's event and your contributions to the conversations that took place. 📢 I wanted to express my gratitude to our branch operations team (Monserrat Bautista, and ALFREDO CALZADA) for participating in our event. They were not only attentive listeners but also actively engaged in conversations with representatives from different companies.
