POTTINGER TERRADISC Clever tillage tools: The rugged scalloped discs made of special heat-treated steel have a diameter of 580 mm. Eight discs per metre of working width equate to a spacing of just 12,5 cm. The optimised interplay of ground penetration angle and mounting angle ensure perfect performance. The offset configuration of the aggressive discs mixes harvest residues effectively into the soil. The discs on TERRADISC harrows have an optimum diameter. The disc diameter of 580 mm ensures the whole surface is moved even at shallow working depths from 5 cm. At the same time, reliable mixing of the soil is enabled even when working deeper. 1. Grout holes in base plates - Grout holes are required (to facilitate grouting / grout material pouring) when the smaller dimension of concerned base plate exceeds 24", i.e. 600 mm.

There are 3 different ways to do boulder splitting. One is expanding grout, or chemical rock breaking, another way is hydraulic wedge splitters and the last way is pneumatic wedge splitters. They all have their place. For boulders up to 4’ pneumatic splitting is great. They are super lightweight and easy to pack in and out of the hole or site. For boulders bigger than 4’ the hydraulic splitters are a great way to go. They have more power and split bigger pieces. For huge boulders and bedrock expanding grout is the preferred method. Some ways to calculate the area of pallets under crane 🏗️ substrates 1) Substrate area 3x = pallet area 2) Winch load in tons / 5 = pallet area in square feet 3) (Winch load in tons / 5) × 0.09 = pallet area in square meters 4) We calculate { ( winch weight / 4 ) × 1.2 } + ejection weight and then we divide the result by soil stress to get the area of the pallet Note All these methods lead to an approximate result and are not 100% accurate.
