Along the itinerary the 120 participants will be immersed in the rich heritage of the old Asturian Basque Railway. At all intermediate stations there will be an explanation of the historical context. Due to the great demand, the tickets for this tour are already sold out!!! Thanks to this activity, the tracks between Trubia and Baiña (via Fuso de la Reina), will be given a new life. Since 2009, this "section" has been closed. The current "Caudal" line C8 is limited to Baiña. However, this is a PARTICULAR INITIATIVE with hardly any support from the Central Government. Therefore, the future of the tracks between Trubia and Baiña will remain uncertain after September 14. In order to establish a PERMANENT service, it is recommended to take a look at its contemporary and French counterpart: The little yellow train (le petit train jaune). Its color earned it the nickname "canary" from the locals. This tourist product contains some outstanding features. Here are the pillars of the so-called CANARY STRATEGY: In the center, the "immaterial" railway service is placed. The railway service is rounded off by 3 CIRCLES. Each one symbolizes another level within the common planning: 1) SERVED ONES: this height is the closest to the service provided. They are usually LOCAL CITIZENS who use it on a daily basis.
