#BMSMNTrials 📊 In 2023, a year marked by fluctuating rainfall, we conducted trials on Fontane potatoes with Azavis Neo in Belgium. Despite planting delays and a tough start due to drought, we saw a significant improvement in tuber production. 🌱 Key Findings: ➕ Application of Azavis Neo boosted tuber count and size, especially those larger than 35mm. ➕ Despite the challenging weather, the overall harvest met expectations. ➕ Regular rainfall in late July and August restored plant strength for optimal growth. Even with atypical growing conditions, Azavis Neo positively impacted yield, proving its value in enhancing potato production. 🥔 Do you want more information? Did you know that StimBlue+ can significantly boost lettuce growth and yield? 💡 StimBlue+ contains growth-promoting substances like auxins, cytokinins, and gibberellins, which can enhance the growth rate and increase the yield of lettuce plants. They help in stimulating cell division and elongation, leading to larger and healthier lettuce plants. 💡 StimBlue+ improves the nutrient uptake efficiency of plants. This means lettuce plants treated with StimBlue+ can absorb nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium more effectively from the soil, promoting overall better growth and development. 💡 StimBlue+ contains compounds like betaines and mannitol, which help lettuce plants tolerate various stresses such as drought, salinity, and temperature fluctuations. This can be particularly beneficial in regions with challenging environmental conditions. 💡 The application of StimBlue+ can induce changes at the biochemical and physiological levels in lettuce plants. For example, they can increase chlorophyll content, improve photosynthetic efficiency, and enhance antioxidant activity, which collectively contribute to healthier and more vigorous plants. Interested in seeing the results on your lettuce crops? Send us a message: https://lnkd.in/eAKeXtv5 📩 Our agronomists will be in touch with you to discuss how StimBlue+ can best benefit you. #agriculture #growth #lettuce #biostimulant #seaweed #giantkelp

In a time when many farmers and greenhouse growers are closing down due to skyrocketing costs of fertilizers and other inputs, it's crucial to adopt methods that ensure efficient nutrient absorption, cost-effective pest and disease management, and optimization. These methods should guarantee healthy and quality vegetables for both soil and hydroponic growers. Prioritizing these practices might lead to an adjustment or overhaul of the current conventional cultivation methods to maintain consistent and seasonless production. For instance, the first priority should be given to resilient seed varieties due to climate change and shifts in pest and disease management efficacy. 🌱 Become Proficient in Soil pH: The Key to Crop Success! 📊 Ever wondered why some crops thrive while others struggle in the same soil? The secret often lies in soil pH! Soil pH: Scale ranges from 0 (acidic) to 14 (alkaline) Most crops prefer slightly acidic to neutral (6.0-7.0) pH affects nutrient availability and microbial activity Optimal pH ranges: 🌾 Wheat: 6.0-7.0 🥔 Potatoes: 5.0-6.5 🍅 Tomatoes: 6.0-6.8 🥕 Carrots: 5.5-7.0 Why pH matters: ✅ Influences nutrient uptake ✅ Affects soil microorganism activity ✅ Impacts pesticide effectiveness Pro Tip: Regular soil testing helps maintain optimal pH. Adjust with lime (to increase pH) or sulfur (to decrease pH) as needed. At Plant Remedies, we offer soil testing services and pH-specific solutions. Let's work together for healthier soils and higher yields! मिट्टी के pH को समझें, बेहतर फसल उगाएं! Do You See Chlorosis on the Leaves of Your Crops? You know that depending on which leaves are affected, several deficiencies may need to be addressed. Mg deficiency is first seen in older, mature leaves. Magnesium is a very mobile nutrient in the soil and in the plant. The upside is that a plant can store Mg in older leaves until it needs it in new growth. But that movement of nutrients is also an indication that your field is experiencing a Mg deficiency for some reason. Abiotic stresses such as drought can cause nutrient deficiencies. An overabundance of NH4 (ammonia) from spreading fresh manure will create an imbalance. Mg deficiencies show up very differently depending on the crop. Some crops are just more sensitive. Corn and sugarcane are the two most dependent on the proper Mg/nutrients balance. Soybeans come in a close third. By the time you’re seeing chlorosis on the leaves, your crop has already lost a great deal of its potential. Adding Mg at a late stage of chlorosis will benefit future crops in that field, but only marginally help what you’ve planted this year. Find out more about magnesium and how to maintain soil health for the long-term. Check out this blog [link to April 1b] #soilhealth #magnesiumdeficinency #abioticstresses
