Given that it has taken 80 years for Diwali and Halloween to fall on the same day, perhaps there won't ever be a more auspicious time to communicate this. Going back to the time when I was the only Contracts Manager in a 50,000 strong Indian IT organisation. The role itself was accidental and required me to train on the job. The role was created only because we were subbing to a global IT organisation with a mature Commercial Management function - and there was a need to have someone face off to the prime's Commercial Manager. So, I rebadged from a Pre-sales manager to a Commercial Manager, joining World Commerce & Contracting (known as IACCM at the time) to learn the requisite skills. When problems brew on the programme, my recommendation was to put in a notice because the contract required it. Every other Senior Manager believed otherwise. The overwhelming belief was such an action would violate the 'spirit' of the contract - and permanent damage to the client relationship would follow. Eventually, it had to be done, but that was only after we engaged the services of an outsourcing specialist lawyer. Also, in hindsight, we realised that any damage was temporary. At the time, my voice was small, but now with some credibility, I can say that the 'spirit' of the contract does not impose additional substantive obligations, or restrictions on actions. And those are not my words. This view was endorsed in the Court of Appeal in 2022 (see comments). The contract itself is fair; applying personal standards of fairness is not necessary. Not abiding by the contract will rarely make problems go away. It will more likely compound the problem or shift the old problem into new. But that's me, speaking in my new avataar as a lawyer. I'd love to hear your take, should this 'spirit' be buried forever or kept alive as a deeply held Indian value?

Results just a day before Diwali Festive will break many students heart for sure along with their families. Either the dates should have been 3-4 days earlier than diwali or 3-4 days after Diwali.. But these people seriously lack leadership qualities as well as managing system qualities as well.
