At Babytrust, we believe that every child deserves to shine, and what better time to celebrate their unique personalities than Halloween? 🎃 This little one is showcasing all the fun and creativity that come with dressing up. From glittery costumes to bold feathers, Halloween offers children a chance to explore their imagination, express their individuality, and, of course, have fun! Costumes aren’t just about looking cute—they also play a significant role in child development. Dressing up encourages imaginative play, helping kids step into different roles and scenarios, which can boost their cognitive and emotional growth. In addition, creative activities like costume-making foster a child’s sense of achievement, allowing them to build confidence in expressing themselves. At Babytrust, our goal is to support families by offering high-quality products that make life more fun and comfortable for little ones. We understand that even the smallest details, like a cozy fabric or an easy-to-use design, can make a big difference in how children (and parents) experience these moments. As we head into Halloween, we encourage families to celebrate their child’s creativity and embrace the magic of dressing up. What costumes are your little ones wearing this year? Share your ideas and tips with our community! 🎉 #Babytrust #Halloween2024 #CreativePlay #ChildhoodDevelopment #CostumeMagic #FamilyFirst #ImaginativePlay #InclusiveBrands

“Ratna, you’re so pretty, why are you still single?” “You’re so picky lah!” I’ve heard these comments too many times, sadly it often comes from other women. 🥲 It’s time we address this issue head-on! 🔥 Being single is NOT a crime. Society seems to think: ✳️ Women need to get married by age 30 → As if we have an expiration date! ✳️ Women need to have kids by age 35 → Because apparently, our biological clocks are everyone’s business. 🥹 These stereotypes limit personal growth and freedom, reinforcing the idea that a woman’s primary value lies in her ability to fit a specific mold. We can be single because of a choice or other priorities in life. Let’s shift the conversation! 🔂 Being single is a choice, not a deficiency, and it’s time we respect each other’s journeys. 💪✨ For the single lady (and man) out there, if you like to build genuine connections, come and join our singles event with Lego! Whether it’s a metaphor for your ideal relationship, your dream career, or just a fun creation, we’ll use LEGO to express and explore our single selves in a creative and fun way. Why LEGO Serious Play? ↳ Because life’s too short to be serious all the time ↳ Building LEGO creations can help break the ice, spark conversations ↳ Maybe even connect you with someone who truly cares Come for the LEGO, stay for the laughter, and maybe leave with a new friend (or two)! This event is NOT for everyone, we want to curate this event to make sure that you meet someone cool 😎 Let’s embrace our unique self, shatter stereotypes, and celebrate the freedom of living on our own terms. Because who says you can’t have fun and build meaningful connections at the same time? 😉 Let’s put the play back in dating – one brick at a time. 🩷🧩 P.S. LEGO bricks provided, bring only your charming self and a readiness to have fun! We just launched yesterday and half of the seats are filled 🤩 you wouldn’t want to miss this! Registration link in the comment below! Come join us lah! 😂 Excited to be co-facilitating this with the LEGO hero 🦸♂️ Brian Liu, PBM #SinglesEvent #LEGOSeriousPlay #BuildYourLife

Christmas Eve Reflection: Who Made the Presents We Give? Today, as I walked through Stratford-upon-Avon, I picked up a copy of The Big Issue. One article stopped me in my tracks. It shared unsettling truths about the supply chains behind some of the gifts many of us will be unwrapping tomorrow, including references to Mattel’s Barbie production factory in Chang’an. An undercover investigation revealed sexual harassment, abuse, and shocking working conditions for the people making these toys. Even worse, some big brands subcontract to hidden factories where conditions are even more dire—holes in walls for windows, no ventilation, and children laboring in cramped, unsafe spaces. This isn’t a post to cast blame. It’s Christmas Eve—a time for joy, love, and connection. 🫶But it’s also a moment to reflect. As we step into 2025, let’s resolve to ask more questions about the supply chains behind what we buy, to hold companies accountable for the working conditions of those they employ—directly or indirectly. Change won’t happen overnight. But by raising awareness and demanding better, we can help ensure the gifts we give spread joy not just to those who receive them but to those who made them, too. Wishing you all a thoughtful and meaningful Christmas Eve. 🎄 #modernslavery #childlabour #ethicalpractice #equity

A Friendly Halloween Reminder 🎃 As we approach Halloween at the end of the month, it’s a great time to get creative and have fun with costumes. But let’s ensure that our costumes celebrate imagination without causing harm or perpetuating harmful stereotypes, especially toward the Disabled community. These are some questions that can help you when choosing a costume: 👉 Does it represent a disability or medical condition? Dressing up as a "patient" or using mobility aids (like wheelchairs) as props. 👉 Could it reinforce stereotypes? Avoid costumes that make light of physical differences, intellectual, or mental health conditions. 👉 Would this costume make someone feel dehumanised or marginalised? Shows and films have for years showed us villains and scary characters as Disabled or with some sort of physical difference, so it's important to stop that narrative. Let's celebrate Halloween without causing any harm to others 💜 ___ And if you want to learn more about how your marketing and comms activities can have the Disabled community in mind, reach out: info@purplegoatagency.com #InclusiveMarketing #DisabilityAwareness #Halloween2024 #DiversityAndInclusion

🎃👻 As Halloween approaches, let’s ensure our little trick-or-treaters have a safe and fun experience! Here are a few tips to keep in mind: Visibility is Key: Make sure costumes are bright and reflective. Consider adding glow sticks or flashlights to help them stand out in the dark. Safe Pathways: Parents should check the route for any hazards—like uneven sidewalks or poorly lit areas. It’s a good idea to stick to well-lit neighborhoods. Buddy System: Encourage kids to go in groups. There’s safety in numbers! Check Treats: After a night of fun, inspect all candy for any signs of tampering. Better safe than sorry! Let’s work together to create a memorable and safe Halloween for all! 🍬🦇 Share your own tips below! #HalloweenSafety #TrickOrTreat #CommunityCare #DynaTechAdhesives #HappyHalloween

👻🎃 Making it an Inclusive Halloween 🎃👻 This Halloween, let’s ensure kids of all abilities can have a safe and enjoyable experience. Here are some extra steps to create an inclusive celebration: Quiet Zones: If you’re hosting an event, set up a quiet space where kids with sensory sensitivities can take a break from noise and excitement. Clear Pathways: Keep sidewalks, driveways, and pathways clear for easy navigation, especially for kids using mobility aids. Assistive Decorations: For those who may find traditional scares overwhelming, use friendly, non-jumping decorations with gentle lighting and sound options. Buddy System: Encourage a buddy system, pairing children with a friend or family member who can assist and help them feel comfortable and included. Halloween should be for everyone! A few small adjustments go a long way to make it a magical night. 🎃 #InclusiveHalloween #TrickOrTreatForAll #AccessibleHalloween #HalloweenForEveryone
