In reality, two races take place, one elite and the other popular 🎖️The elite race is reserved for professional athletes. To be accepted into this race, one must be able to cover 10 km in less than 39 minutes for men and less than 45 minutes for women. In 2023, it was Ethiopian Berihu Aregawi who won it in 27 minutes and 16 seconds. 🏃♀️Alternatively, if you are not elite athletes, the popular race is open to everyone. It is facilitated by the fact that the course is 8km downhill. It brought together 42,000 runners in 2023.
