La certificación internacional de #viticultura regenerativa Regenerative Viticulture Alliance (RVA) empieza su andadura y avala los primeros #viñedos, bodegas y #vinos de diferentes regiones vitivinícolas del mundo. Un total de siete bodegas de cuatro países han obtenido recientemente esta certificación de alcance global focalizada en viticultura, que certifica la implementación de un modelo regenerativo beneficioso para el viñedo y el planeta. Estas son DOMAINE LE MIRABEAU (Côtes de Provence, Francia), Domaine LAFAGE (Roussillon, Francia), Lima Smith (Vinho Verde, Portugal), Miguel Torres Chile (Región del Maule, Chile), Familia Torres (Penedès), CLOS MOGADOR SL (Priorat) y Jean Leon (Penedès), así como otros pequeños viticultores catalanes. https://lnkd.in/driTs9AX

We had some fun and learning early October in the heart of the renowned Wachau wine region, at Domäne Wachau which stands out as a leading Austrian winery, with a commitment to sustainability and authentic marketing approaches. Known for its high-quality Riesling and Grüner Veltliner wines, Domäne Wachau's mission extends beyond wine production. It seeks to preserve the unique terroir for future generations while fostering a close bond with wine enthusiasts. [LANSON COMMITMENT] In addition to owning a sixteen-hectare vineyard that is farmed biodynamically, Maison Lanson is committed to sustainable viticulture both for its own vineyard and for its supplies by supporting its partner growers in their transition towards certified viticulture through the founding of the first collective structure by a Champagne house, in 2018. In accordance with the requirements defined by the Comité Champagne and the Ministry of Agriculture, which certify the Viticulture Durable en Champagne (Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne – VDC) and Haute Valeur Environnementale (High Environmental Value – HVE) labels, Maison Lanson is forging a path of support based on exchange, sharing and the commitment of each person towards virtuous practices that are mindful of biodiversity and societal and environmental standards. Since 2021, Maison Lanson is a leading light in its commitment to CSR, with key actions in the environmental, social and economic fields, all reflected in a clear vision entitled “Terroirs, People, Wines”. More recently, Maison Lanson joined IWCA - International Wineries for Climate Action, a joint international programme featuring some forty estates in nine countries, the aim of which is to reduce the carbon footprint of the wine industry by sharing best practices and drawing up an international action plan. Maison Lanson is one of the first French estates and the first Champagne house to be part of the program, thereby becoming a leader in sustainable development. El cambio climático patea el tablero del mundo vitivinícola. Así como perjudica algunas zonas, beneficia otras como es el caso de estos viñedos al sur del Reino Unido, donde hace tiempo atrás era absolutamente impensado el posible desarrollo de la vitivinicultura. Hoy en los Condados de kent, West Sussex, East Sussex y Surrey se encuentran viñedos con variedades parecidas a las utilizadas en la región de la Champagna y un importante desarrollo respecto a la elaboración de vinos espumantes, algunos de ellos premiados y reconocidos mundialmente. De todas maneras, continúa siendo muy compleja la viticultura en esta región, por ello se utilizan cepas “no convencionales”cruces o hibridos, las cuales ayudan a adaptarse mejor a estos climas tan complejos. #vino #wine #cambioclimatico #vinosingleses #vinosinglaterra #sommelier #winelover
