From parking lot to winning the lot: a new underdog takes the world by storm. At a supermarket in Pembrokeshire, a puppy was found abandoned in the parking lot. Only 11 weeks old, the tiny spaniel left alone was surprising enough - but Ariel has a knack for surprises. Named for the princess Ariel, the puppy may not have fins, but she does have two extra hind legs, partially fused - like a mermaid’s tail. Since being rescued last fall, she’s lived up to her namesake and truly become part of our world. What began as a local rescue tale quickly transcended borders, resonating with hearts worldwide. Ariel's recent surgery, a pivotal moment in her saga, symbolized more than a novel medical procedure—it became a rallying cry to turn challenges into triumphs. As the story of Ariel unfolded, a global symphony of compassion emerged.
