One of the shining stars of this ecosystem is the IGE MedTech Accelerator, which trains prospective medtech entrepreneurs in the workings of business and guides them in developing a business plan and clinically validating their product. This program has helped launch companies like Melio and LIMBER Prosthetics and Orthotics, which are now changing the face of health care. With a strong industrial base, it offers an ideal environment for aspiring entrepreneurs, with top academic institutions, incubators and accelerators, all contributing to the creation of a vibrant startup hub. Fondazione E. Amaldi has expanded its presence in the Turin area with a dedicated office, with the aim of fostering the development of novel ideas and systemic projects on a national scale. As part of this initiative, it hosted the 6th local Spread2inno event, held during the annual 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 conference in Turin on April 4 and 5, in partnership with Consorzio di ricerca Hypatia, LINKS Foundation – Leading Innovation & Knowledge for Society, CTE NEXT, Polo di Innovazione ICT, Torino City Lab.
