There are lots of 4 Hour Work Week bozos that hire from the Philippines. If you’re hiring for experience, is that who you want their training to come from? Instead of assigning a whole department to someone that knows nothing about your business.. Why don't you try delegating a repeated system? Like your process for setting up a product launch PPC ad campaign. Hiring for experience sounds like a good idea But maybe hiring for no experience is a route that works better for you No Experience Teach skills from scratch Easier to focus on character and culture fit Undervalued in the market With Experience Difficult to re-teach learnings Higher comp expected Lower talent pool to choose from If you are hiring with experience, you better know how to test for it. Because their ‘training’ may have come from said bozo trying to have a ‘4 hour work week’ and his business crumbled. -Zack

If anyone here is looking to hire virtual assistants in Malaysia, let me know. I posted this tweet earlier today and it seems to have blown up, and now I have >100 applicants, students and non-students. Scheming through early applicants, quite a number sent decent emails and resumes. I'm only looking to hire one or two. So, if any business owners or professionals here looking to hire online assistants at similar rate like in the image or more, let me know. With their consent, I can connect some of them to you (after I've selected who I want to work with). This way more of them can benefit from having responded to my tweet. What kind of work do virtual assistants do? It's normally tasks that are repititive and can be taught easily. Normally, data entry, internet research, organizing/cleaning up data and documents, basic customer service and the likes.
