Teams that play together stay together! Creating connection within teams at work is a key contributor to building a thriving #workplaceculture. This is us 2 weeks ago on a team outing, we played crazy golf. Important caveat, these activities were not chosen by me but by our team! When someone joins our team, we share a survey with our welcome pack, asking questions about them so we can get to know them better before they join. In that survey we ask what activity they would enjoy doing with the wider team. We then use these choices to build our team activities for the year, it means the team have had a hand in contributing, they get to do what they enjoy and to share their hobbies with the wider team which in turn builds connection. Why is this important? Building connections at work has many benefits: - Builds trust and camaraderie - Encourages greater communication and authenticity - Promotes teamwork and collaboration - Creates memories from shared experiences - It’s fun! Why not try something with your team and see relationships begin to flourish. In the fast-paced work environment we live today, the importance of team engagment and bonding cannot be overstated. Being part of a team means more than just working together; it's about caring for each other, supporting one another, and building connections that go beyond professional relationships. When team members connect personally, they build trust and empathy, creating a foundation that supports a fair and aligned vision. This bond fosters a culture where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute their best. Great teams are built on mutual respect and a shared sense of purpose. This is the essence of teamwork—uniting diverse talents and strengths to achieve common goals. It's important for teams to spend time together outside of work. These moments strengthen relationships and create a sense of unity, making the team more connected and efficient in the workplace. Remember, the strength of the team is each individual member, and the strength of each member is the team. Let's continue to build teams that inspire, support, and enjoy working together. #TeamSpirit #TeamBonding #Trust #Empathy #Teamwork

#teamwork,#Teambuilding Just because we work together in the same office doesn't automatically make us a real team. 🙃 Think about it - how many times have you sat right next to someone but felt miles apart? 🙄 True teamwork isn't about sharing a workspace or having your desks side by side. 🤝 What really brings people together is something much deeper. It's about trusting each other when things get tough, showing genuine respect even when we disagree, and actually caring about what happens to our coworkers. A real team is built on these foundations - when someone stays late to help you finish a project, when they defend your ideas in meetings, or when they check in on you during rough times. That's the difference between just being coworkers and being a true team. Physical distance doesn't matter nearly as much as the bonds we build through trust, respect, and genuine care 🌟 for one another. Want real teamwork? Start with actual human connection. Everything else is just corporate musical chairs. 💢
