Insightful article! Whenever I read about the persistent gap between men and women in leadership positions or pay, I’m reminded of a conversation I had during college. Though I can't recall the exact figures, the core idea has stayed with me: men often apply for jobs and negotiate salaries based on their potential and what they believe they could achieve, while women tend to do so based on their proven track record and past accomplishments. This always sparks my curiosity—why do these patterns exist, and what factors contribute to such a stark difference in approach? Understanding the underlying reasons could be key to bridging this gap and fostering a more balanced, confident approach for everyone in the workplace. Thoughts Jessie Mead, MBA?

Diversity in leadership matters! In today's dynamic world, fostering diversity isn't just a buzzword - it's a strategic choice that drives success. Embracing different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences within leadership teams drives innovation, fosters creativity, and enables better decision-making. And let's talk about women in leadership. Studies consistently show that companies with diverse leadership teams, including strong representation of women, outperform their peers. Why? Because women bring unique strengths to the table - empathy, collaboration, and a holistic approach to problem-solving. They excel in nurturing talent, fostering inclusive cultures, and driving sustainable growth. So, let's champion diversity at all levels of our businesses. Let's empower more women to contribute, lead and thrive. Together, we'll build stronger, more resilient businesses that reflect and serve the diverse world we live in. #DiversityInLeadership #WomenLeaders
