In celebration of Mid-Autumn Festival, a time for celebrating food, family, and festivity, we reflect on some of the designs we’ve created at Boundless Brand Design that embrace and honour the tastes, sounds, smells and spectacles found across the vibrant cultures of Asia. Next up: Boundless x Martell We created an enchanting illustrative universe centred around the concept "From Our Home To Yours", visually telling the narrative of the journey from Martell's brand home to the Mid-Autumn Festival celebration, and to people’s homes. The vibrant illustrative world is adorned with ornate and decorative lanterns welcoming consumers to immerse themselves into the celebratory season. From key visuals, to glorifiers, immersive activation spaces to gift bags, all elements embraced the look and feel of the celebratory concept. Martell Mumm Perrier-Jouët

Luxury has found new territory with cinema ✨ Luxury brands traditionally call on major filmmakers to create cinematic mini-productions. The fashion, beauty, watchmaking and automotive industries have all jumped on the bandwagon. Today, luxury is increasingly committed to harnessing the soft power of cinema and audiovisual productions. Following the launch of its Saint Laurent Productions company in 2023, the House of Saint Laurent moves up a gear in 2024. This spring, it intends to shine at the 77th Cannes Film Festival taking place from May 14 to 25, 2024, with three feature films produced in-house by David Cronenberg, Paolo Sorrentino and Jacques Audiard. Like Balenciaga Films in the past, Saint Laurent Productions is one of the rare luxury houses to include film production in its own right. This division, conceived by Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent, aligns with Vaccarello's vision for the brand's future, while echoing the cinematic nuances of his collections. Designing a signature scent is relatively well adopted in the #hospitality industry nowadays. 👃 And it's relatively well accepted that said signature scent should be bespoke to the hotel, curated by an expert perfumer who can bring to life the brand's personality. This feature in Condé Nast Traveler articulated this concept well: "The alignment between a hotel’s personality and the signature scent is an important one. When there’s a disconnect, it could potentially lead to disastrous results, like repelling guests and, ultimately, hurting its brand identity." In a similar way that music can transport us to an experience 20 years prior.
