Stage design becomes poetry, where every element comes to life and merges with technology. ✨ The fusion of traditional theater with technological innovations transforms Pagliacci into a unique experience, where the stage comes alive with projections, augmented reality, and immersive interactions. Every movement, every sound intertwines with technology to create a performance that is not only to be watched, but to be lived. 🎭🌍 Visual art becomes emotion, making scenic poetry more powerful than ever. Thanks to technology, the narrative expands, turning every moment into an immersive experience. It’s not just an opera, it’s a vision that transcends time and space. #StageDesign #TechnologyOnStage #VisualArt #TheaterInnovation #ContemporaryOpera #ImmersiveExperience #ScenicPoetry

Fun interview with V13 Media discussing some of my career history, as well as chatting about Artist Development and sharing Advice to aspiring artists. Excerpt: “I do think most labels are abandoning traditional artist development by chasing things that are viral and hyper-relevant in the micro. We still believe in longer-term development cycles but have had to be more critical in recent periods of time, where we’ve realized we have too many artists to serve at the level we need to be executing at. So we’ve opted to not renew quite a few things recently, but that is really a separate issue from our belief in development. We have traditionally signed artists very early in their journey and have a strong track record of taking things from 0 to 10,000 monthly listeners up to over 50,000 if not even 100,000 to 150,000 monthly within one album cycle (typically 12 to 24 months)." This #lyricsvideo, created at the beginning of my master's in #motiondesign, is inspired by the visual style of “Arcane - League of legends”, with colors, fonts, and atmospheres that evoke the world of the tv serie. 🔥 The lyrics blend with the energy of the series, creating a mix of #music and #design that reflects the intensity and beauty of the setting. 🎶🌆

Hey artists, does your LinkedIn profile have fewer visitors than a mime's podcast, but you’re unsure how to fix it? Well, Dorothy Di Stefano, the maestro of all things experiential, is thinking of running a masterclass to help you do just that. It’s like a magic trick, but with your LinkedIn profile and without the disappearing act. Interested? Drop her a comment!

I can't say this enough - WE NEED ARTISTS. We need artists to be able to afford to live in the city they care about and we need them supported in times of fear. Especially with everything going on in the world right now, artists using their voices to reflect on, process, and create magic impacts us all. Disheartening is an understatement when we read articles like the one in Dance Magazine by Guillermo Perez - https://lnkd.in/gqEWK7mD. In what world can something as essential to the human spirit as arts and culture NOT be a state funding priority? Florida governor Ron DeSantis announced that in 2024-25, the $32million promised to over 600 arts organizations was cut to $0. The arts CANNOT participate in the market economy the same way a car-parts manufacturer can. We cannot change our services to be one-size fits all, we cannot monetize services that communities rely on nonprofits for, and we must never take for granted the good federal- and state-funded programs provide for communities who cannot participate in the market economy. The wage gap is growing and costs for living keep rising. The Seattle Times shared an impressive story from Margo Vansynghel, who collected transparent income totals from artists living and working in the city limits. This further exposes the disconnect between what's available to people vs the conditions they must live within. Three cheers to funders like the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust for funding articles like the one shared below! We're going to be relying more and more on them in the years to come should these challenges be left unaddressed. Arts and Culture is critical to our society and a staple of good health. Why must we keep barking this from the rooftops and when will our governing bodies hear us?
I was profiled in The Seattle Times about making ends meet as an artist in one of the most expensive cities in the country. Glad to have been a part of this, helping to shed some light on the realities of being a working artist here, especially a disabled one. Check it out along with the entire series of articles about affordability for artists in Seattle! We are out here doing our best!

Dancing About Architecture is home to many of our more ambitious blends, crafting esoteric genres not normally found in production music catalogs. In this collection of standout stylings, we’ve included broad “Corporate Keywords” born out of whiteboard brainstorm sessions (e.g. "Fun" or "Modern") that you might see in a creative brief, along with our own succinct summary of each record. https://buff.ly/4caMwuL

Creativity is often seen as a talent exclusive to artists who engage in painting or music composition. However, this view is quite narrow. Creativity is a core aspect of human nature, going way beyond just traditional arts. Every day, often without realizing it, we use creativity. To create simply means to make something new, which can come in many forms. Whether it's finding an innovative solution to a problem, writing a thoughtful message, rearranging your living space, or discovering an alternative route to avoid traffic, these actions are all creative. It's important to note that the value of what we create isn't dependent on it being known by the public or being sold. Our daily choices and actions naturally shape our experiences and affect our surroundings in unique ways. This perspective shows us something remarkable: by just living our lives, we all become artists, shaping and redefining our reality every day. I can’t help but mention how much I’m enjoying 'The Creative Act A Way Of Being' by Rick Rubin. It’s giving me so much to think about. I'm absolutely enamored with this perspective. What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below. #bephenomenal #creativity #human #innovation #experience #possibilities #services #thoughts #choices
