Last week was marked by a few discussions with designers for retail projects. These conversations illustrate the agile capabilities of Studio Saint Pierre through a series of case studies: 1. We have to develop a unique texture for elevator doors, inspired by the brand's moodboard and the designer's ideas. Our brief is also to create hyper-realistic renderings, enabling stakeholders to visualize the final implementation easily 2. For another brand, our task is to reproduce an embossed textile pattern. The finished panels, designed to give existing furniture a facelift, will be coated with bronze, patina and varnish. 3. We need to think about manufacturing options for an organically shaped window display; 3D printing with a polished brass finish has been chosen for the time being. The project offers great flexibility, allowing the designer to choose between an entirely digital creation or a piece sculpted by an artist for a flagship store, with replicas printed in other locations.
