'Sage Wall' discovered and located in Montana, USA. To my connections who live in the USA this might be of interest to see. Some say it is natural lava formations, others compare it to the Ancient structures found around the World in Egypt, Peru, Japan and other various locations. This is for sure; people can't seem to fathom exactly what created the 'Sage Wall', be it natural or man made from a lost civilization, or is it even a modern day stunt? I don't know but trying to shift a 91 tonne granite stone isn't easy even by today's standards. 🌲 Among redwoods in the Santa Cruz mountains you can find a habitat so rare it doesn’t exist anywhere else in the world: the Santa Cruz sandhills. Like the shark teeth and shell 🐚 fossils found in its sand, the sediment found in Santa Cruz sandhills rose up through space and time, from the bottom of the ocean during the Miocene Epoch, about 23.03 to 5.333 million years ago. Of the approximately 6,000 acres of ancient sea floor that gave rise to Santa Cruz sandhills habitat, about 3,000 acres remain. Learn more about the extremely rare sandhills: https://lnkd.in/gdhEKUGT

Finland is renowned for its pristine wilderness, boasting nearly 200,000 lakes and countless rivers and springs. Yet, it has only one natural mineral-water fountain—the Vellamo fountain in the small village of Viikinäinen. Discovered in 1990, this fountain revealed something extraordinary: the water originates from melted Ice Age glaciers, dating back to prehistoric times. With molecules untouched by anything above ground for thousands of years, Vellamo water boasts a safe bacterial colony count of 0. This isn't just water; it's a sip of ancient history 💧 USA - West Coast Chris DePaco chris.depaco@vellamo.com +1-310-880-4224 USA - East Coast Gerald Pacheco gerald.pacheco@vellamo.com +1- 702-526-6146 Canada Lucas Pavan lucas.pavan@vellamo.com +1-416-606-2758 Finland Markus Heinonen markus.heinonen@vellamo.com +358 40 558 2370 Europe & Beyond Alex Konopliv alex.konopliv@vellamo.com +358 50 363 4714 #Sustainability #SustainableBusiness #Water #Finland #BeverageIndustry #SpringWater #MineralWater

There is beauty of differential erosion and weathering in this natural formation in Italy.
#PPOD: Silent Planet These otherworldly natural formations are found in South Tyrol, in Italy. shaped by erosion. They remind us of hoodoos in the southwest of the U.S., but their origin is slightly different. Normally the pillars consist of deposited clay with a boulder on top. They “rise” in moraine clay soil left behind by the glaciers of the last Ice Age. The soil is prone to erosion during heavy pour – though it’s hard like stone when dry. Boulders within the glacial soil are like a shield to the soil below them. The surrounding material is swept away by rain but the stone-protected parts stay more or less dry and pillars start to “rise” from the ground. Once the earth pyramid is too fragile to carry the boulder even longer, the balance is lost and the stone tumbles down. Credit: Martin Rak (https://buff.ly/3XIifOQ)

This Tree is 4,853 Years Old — Making it Two Centuries Older Than the Pyramids: One of the world's oldest living trees is Methuselah, a Great Basin bristlecone pine located in the White Mountains of eastern California. Tree-ring data estimates that Methuselah is an astonishing 4,853 years old, meaning it was already alive when the pyramids at Giza were being built. The Great Pyramid of Giza is generally dated to around 2550 BCE, making it approximately 4,600 years old. For its protection, the exact location of Methuselah is kept secret, though it's believed to reside in the Methuselah Grove within the Inyo National Forest. As a result, the image you see here is of a related tree of the same species, and not Methuselah itself. This ancient tree stands as a living testament to the resilience of nature, having weathered millennia of environmental changes.

Whispers of the Wild Concrete crumbles under persistent roots, While ivy reclaims the abandoned temples of commerce. Nature knows no masters, no borders, no laws But those written in soil and starlight. We are not separate, we never were— Just prodigal children drunk on progress, Building walls between ourselves And the wisdom of wind-swept plains. The salmon remembers ancient paths Through waters we tried to tame. The wolf knows freedom without fences, Teaching lessons we forgot to learn. Every garden is an act of rebellion, Every wild seed scattered: revolution. The Earth does not recognize your deed to the land, Your claim to ownership is written in vanishing ink. Listen: The mushroom networks whisper truth beneath our feet, Of mutual aid and shared sustenance, Of systems too vast for human control. We were never meant to be conquerors, Only participants in this grand communion. The future grows wild in the cracks of empire— Green tendrils of possibility Breaking through the anthropocene's thin veneer. Let the boundaries dissolve Let the borders blur Let the wild remember us Back into belonging.
