Hi everyone, and welcome to another video in our monthly Innovation Highlight series. In this video, we'll be talking about the latest innovations from SAP Ariba and how our innovations can help you improve your procurement process. SAP Arribas innovations are designed to help you reduce costs, improve efficiency. Increase compliance, mitigate risks and improve collaboration with suppliers. So let's discover this month's innovation highlight. Meet Catherine, a lead category manager for Rising Star Incorporated. Catherine needs to create a document for market dynamics so she navigates to develop strategy and plan within the SAP Ariba category management solution. Catherine notices that with the latest feature release, there is now a new toolkit tab which allows her to create and maintain analysis tools outside of a category strategy document. This new feature offers increased flexibility and scalability for Catherine given that she can work. On these documents without necessarily linking them to a strategy until she's ready to include them in one or more strategies in the future. She sees that there are two tools enabled for this toolkit, which are the cost structure and market dynamics. So she starts by choosing cost structure, and she sees the cost structure documents that she's already created. Now it's time to create a new one from the toolkit. She gives the document a name, and she could use the generative AI to get her document started, or she could manually add the cost structure components. She chooses to use the generative AI to kickstart her process. The system fetches the data and the new toolkit based cost structure document is now started. She makes a minor adjustments and it looks good so she saves the document. This document is now a toolkit document and we can see that it is not yet associated with any strategies. Now Catherine navigates back to the toolkit and takes a look at her market dynamics. Here she chooses to create a new toolkit based market dynamics document. She names it and instead of using generative. AI, she chooses to manually enter the components this time and her new market dynamics toolkit document is now created. Fast forward one week, Catherine opens an existing strategy and plan document within the cost structure, she can now choose to add from toolkit. This is where she locates the toolkit document that she just created a week prior. Now she can apply that to this strategy and plan. And now that toolkit document is associated to this strategies category analysis. Now if she clicks into the cost. Picture document itself, you can see that it is associated with this strategy and could be associated with additional strategies in the future. Now she navigates back to the document that she's been working on. Additionally, she always has the choice to replace or clear the existing content as needed. If she were to select replace, the available documents would be visible to her just as you see on the screen. Now she's happy with what she has now, so she's going to leave it. Now that her cost structure is updated, she moves on to create her market dynamics. And again, she's going to add from toolkit here she selects the toolkit document that she created last week and she sees that it's been applied and that the same functionality to replace our clear the data is available to her just as it was in the cost structure. Catherine loves that she can craft multiple instances of analytical tools tailored to diverse regions, subcategories and other specific needs.
