Pakistan Railways Achieves Historic Revenue Growth of 14%! Pakistan Railways has made a remarkable achievement, reporting a 14% year-on-year revenue growth, reaching a whopping Rs33 billion in the first five months of the fiscal year. This significant increase of over Rs4 billion is attributed to improved operational efficiency and strategic revenue optimization. At least Next 10 years the Metro Network in India 🇮🇳 will grow considerably, especially in second and third tier cities will have lots of Metro networks getting established. Similarly considerable High Speed Rail Networks will get developed in the 15 to 20 years. Job opportunities are expected in this two particular sectors at least in the next 10 to 15 years. Engineering community can exploit these opportunities to improve their skills, knowledge, experience and expertise !!

In general we have good quality of Road infrastructure in pakistan but we need to develop better rail infrastructure and focus on Railways as well because of following reasons. Sustainable. Environment friendly. Less consumption of foreign fuel Less carbon footprint Less traffic congestion on highways Less maintenance of infrastructure More safety of the commuters More efficient means of goods logistics
