Ductu Portal - the leading provider of meaningful encounters and interactions between employers and students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) - has appointed Bravand to help get more Careers Hubs and schools working with Ductu. Young people with learning disabilities statistically have a just a 6% chance of entering paid employment when they leave school. Ductu’s mission is to change that by making its really simple for schools to engage with employers. Their work so far has been transformational. The work done by 🌳Ross, Jilly, Agnieszka and Aleksandra is allowing us to reach more and more schools, teachers, Careers Hubs and parents, which critically allows more and more young people to gain invaluable access to our growing number of amazing employers." The image shows a group of people on a construction site. They are all wearing high-visibility yellow safety vests with the logo and name “Bowmer + Kirkland” printed on the back, along with white safety helmets. The group is being led by a person who is also wearing a safety vest and helmet, suggesting that they are part of a guided tour or a site inspection. The setting is an active construction area, with various machinery visible, including a compact roller and an excavator. The ground is covered in gravel, and there are trees in the background. In the distance, there is a modern building under construction with gray, white, and dark blue panels. The overall environment and the participants' safety gear indicate adherence to safety protocols on the site. The scene suggests a professional visit or educational tour, possibly for students or young trainees learning about construction practices.
