Caterpillars are designed to become butterflies from birth. This metamorphosis – we like to think of it as its evolution – from slow and land-based to beautiful and free-as-the-wind is nothing short of miraculous. It’s also one of the reasons why we chose the butterfly as our logo. The K-shaped butterfly logo of today evolved from one that our MD, Wentao Kuang, scribbled down with a ballpoint pen years ago, and it’s symbolic for two reasons: 1. Diversity: No two butterflies are the same, yet they are all beautiful. In the same way, success cannot be copied (although it may be inspired). We all need to find our own success in our own way. 2. Self-belief: Every caterpillar can become a butterfly, but being successful is not just reaching the top of the pyramid – it’s simply becoming the best we can be. Success is a journey to be proud of.
