I spoke with the New York Times' Adam Liptak about the DOJ's likely coming flips in cases before the Supreme Court. As I explained, elections have consequences, but there also needs to be a line between politics and law: "[I]t’s critical that in the course of making those changes that the administrations are also recognizing some bedrock principles about the rule of law and the legitimate boundaries of our constitutional rights.” We'll be watching closely.
